What is the most skillful way to play?

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 10:30 pm

Master difficulty is a must as is speed-running quests you do. Next is the WAY to play that would be most skillful for dexterity and thought. Push it to the absolute limit, tell me your ideas.

I'm wondering about archery and the few speed-based perks such as move faster when blocking, no-armor-weight, and move faster while firing a bow.

Your idea can be one of two categories:
A) Unproductive Skillfulness
B ) Extreme Progress

A) Feats of skill that don't level you very fast and won't help you complete anything faster. These only focus on doing something difficulty for the sake of it.
B ) Attempts to speed-run quests and level faster go here. Anything that you could make progress on from kills to money and beyond.

What if one considers the highest-skill play style the most fun at the time?

  • Can only wear normal, non-enchanted clothes.
  • Can only use an Amulet of Talos as your jewelry

I'm sorry to the OP but I just had to comment on this person's comment. For some reason I can't stop laughing at this.

I like to sneak up, cast fury so one of the guys hopefully dies from the fight and then ressurect the body and use it as my companion and kick some more ass.

I always use my loyal dog at my side, that Hunter Furry chick as companion and two undead zombies and me.. thats a major asskickin group and alotta fun :)!!

Solo archer with NO sneaking, NO magic and NO melee weapons. My first character was like this before I discovered how overpowered sneaking is. Lots of sprint kiting (which doesn't work against other sprinters unless you have more stamina than they do or stamina pots) and careful use of shouts. Takes a long time to get the perks necessary to kite more effectively.

Skillful I assume meaning hardest to pull off?

Light/no armor no shield melee on master. Having to dodge all melee attacks manually (get out of the way) or be one shot. No magic to heal or damage/slow down. Just straight step in and attack and step out and dodge.

Oh and reroll upon death :P

Good luck if you find that 'fun'

Call it "Conan the Barbarian mode"

Find me the equivalent of SuperDave's Anna_goanna run.

I assume that means something to someone on here ;)

I like this idea.

Also, what about standalone ideas? Not just ways to play the game through.
