What the next Fallout can take from Skyrim

More Perks, Perk Trees, Weapon Mods that somewhat act like enchants. More Variety of weapons! That's what I'm hoping for.

More weapons mods.
Better landscape. While I understand that it's a nuclear wasteland, I hated FO because I got so bored of the same old same old landscape everywhere. Just my opinion.
NPCs having active lives and doing stuff

There's probably more, but It won't come to me.

I wouldn't mind if weapons don't break over time. Oh, and I want to keep playing after the Main Quest is over.

I love how people can tell the future and tell if BGS is even making FO4 since it never has been developed twice by the same dev.

Better dungeons. FO4 is going to be a dungeon crawler game anyways so why not make as awesome dungeons as skyrim has?

@Salidin
Fallout1 and 2 were developed by the same dev..

Upgrading weapons and armour is probably the only new feature that could fit in Fallout. I think it would work well as long as Bethesda doesn't decide to remove weapon degradation.

But didn't F:NV basically already do that with the weapon mods?

The no Level cap concept is also a great edition to Bethesda games.

That gorgeous night sky!

@Frocharocha FO is a Bethesda IP. FO:NV was made by Obsidian with Bethesda overseeing its development and publishing.

Fallout 3 was developed by Bethesda, they licensed the rights to Obsidian to develop New Vegas, which was a spin off rather than the next in the series. Bethesda as far as I know own the rights to the Fallout franchise.

That one top guy from Bethesda said that they didn't buy the franchise just to make one of them.

Hire. Real. Writers.

Oblivion's story was okay, Fallout's was mediocre (improved in my mind with Broken Steel in my mind, and some of the DLCs were good), and Skyrim's ended so abruptly and was so generally uninteresting it almost hurt.

This is main quests, by the way. Fallout 3 had pretty good side quests and a few of Skyrim's aren't bad.

Graphics should not take precedent over increased functionality and story.

Bethesda owns the title doesn't mean they won't allow another developer develop it. No matter who makes the game Bethesda will get the money.

This. Plus theres already been much rumors of FO4.

I want:

Perk Trees
NO Weapon Degradation (<3 it..)
Mod Table.. similar to NV Mods using Skyrims Enchantment Table. MORE of them TOO!!! <333
BLUEPRINT WEAPONS TO RETURN. Obsidian didn't have them in NV and it pissed me off. Please bring the Railway Gun, Shiskehbab, etc. BACK PLEASE! <3
CRAZY puzzles, enemies, and locations.

No, Bethesda. UNfortunately Bethesda gave FONV to Obsidian and they far exceeded Bethesda in the ability to create bugs and glitches. 1BIG BUG.

Bethesda has what? Two games that they work on? The Elder Scrolls and Fallout. So either they're going to go straight into TES VI, or they're going to make FO4.

Hopefully they simplify the game more. All we need are one button for attack and the other for defense...in the later stages maybe one button called healz. This way the game can be marketed to the ages 3-8 crowd. There is a lot of money to be made there. And the game would just be a lot less stressful over all. Also they could make sure that everything scales...and I mean super scaling...like mid fight if you are losing the enemy scales weaker and weaker until you can pwn them. I would like to call it Dynamic Scaling X. It will make it so you never lose and therefore can never get butthurt. Also the kids when they are playing often have to stop to pick their nose or throw a toy or something, its not fair that they be penalized for that. So Dynamic Scaling X could solve this problem. Mid fight the enemy would just get weaker as he beat on the afk player character and then will get promptly PWNED once the kiddie returns and merely presses the attack button.

Three buttons + Dynamic Scaling X = pure win. Looking forward to the next Bethesda title.
