I'm all for only resetting unlocks and levels and assesments. Thats how it should be.

I got my skill kill from unsuspecting boosters. It took me a few attempts but I got there. I rebooted as soon as I got & I'm glad I did because my k/d is x5 better than it was when I first started:D but I do miss level 3 modules Its funny getting hate mail for pwning at such a low rank

Also, I don't know if this is just for XP weekend or it permanent because of the DLC. You can play all modes once you reboot. You still have to rank up to play classic or pro.

Yeah, the way it's worded from what I've seen, people's stats and leaderboard stats shouldn't be affected, but I guess they are according to people who reboot? Oh well, minor bummer I suppose which may prevent some people from rebooting.

However yeah, the whole point of rebooting is not to obtain something that gives you an edge in gameplay. Yes, you are essentially opting to DOWNGRADE yourself. I know in the new world of character progression and persistence rewards, we always expect to be rewarded with some new thing with each and every step, but for the reboot (and Call of Duty's Prestige Mode, among others), this is not the case.

The reboot is there only to add replay value to those who enjoy constantly having the ability to "rank up" or who enjoy unlocking items again. Some people love it, some people don't. This is why you're given a choice.

I know what you mean, I've got lots of PM's and voice messages from people calling me a cheater/hacker and that they have reported them. But when your worst game is going 25-5 and you haven't lost a game in 10 games then I suppose those would be dubious.

Since rebooting I've played 18 games, won 14 and got MVP 11 times. My games do tend to go 20+ kills & 7ish deaths.

Out of all them games my worse was 7/10 but that was against players running around killing you from the back wih a shotty. I think its a very cheap tatic.
