I was just wondering what the sound thing (Not sure what its official name is) does whenever I put in my mic. I mean sure I notice it picks up the sound waves in the game (eg. I shoot a lot which results in big solid block) or there is talking which causes this thing to fluctuate according to the sound. Does anyone know the real purpose for this strange addition to the game? Or is it just for cosmetic purposes on the HUD. If you don't know what Im talking about plug if your mic (console) and it should be near the objective wheel part of the HUD.
