What is the work-around between SKSE and the CK not working

What is the work-around between SKSE and the CK not working together?

Each and every time I try to recreate an NPC --such as Serana or Lydia in particular--I end up with a rust colored forehead on each? If I want to make changes to say, Gerdur, for example, when I check the "head" to appear in the render window her forehead is either a rust color or it has vertical grid lines on the forehead.

I have tried seeking answers both here on this forum and on Nexus, but I get no replies that give me any solutions to the problem. Could someone please, please help me out here? I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

What. This has nothing to do with SKSE.

Anyway, there was a CK update earlier today, so you could see if that has fixed your issue. If not, try verifying the tool's cache from Steam.

SKSE doesn't hook the CK (unless you run skse_loader with -editor, even then it just exits with "Currently the editor does not need to be launched via skse_loader. Please check skse_readme.txt for details.")
So you can rule that out.

As pointed out before, there's an update to the CK. Failure to update may be the root cause.

Oh, I didn't realize that the CK was updated along with Skyrim. Thanks.
