End-game = level 0-50.

Do. Not. Rush.

first of all, it should take a while to reach endgame. I played a character for basically 5 days nonstop only breaks to eat and [censored] and was level 25(obviously I wont play like that in the game, just because it was beta and I was super hyped)

But there is A) PvP. I would HIGHLY recommend this and I am a pve player at heart.

B ) 50 and 50++ faction zones(travelling to the other factions).

C) the veteran dungeons. dungeons which you have done, usually with newly unlocked areas in the dungeon which continues the storyline of the dungeon that you had done previosly during the leveling process version of it.

Being this is an MMO, this game will only GROW. 1-50 is NOT end game content, that is called leveling. A whole new world will open up for you at level 50, as MMOS only ever grow as long as they're successful.

I'll quit when I reach end-game, unless there is something non-repetitive fun to do (I pre-ordered imperial). I'll do 1-50 once in each alliance so it will take a while. Will probably be back for the content updates and expansions. I don't to "progression", "dailies", PvP or anything like that.

There are also 10 veteran ranks to level after 50. You get to level again from the beginning of other factions PVE areas with veteran ranked mobs.

Why do people say this, there are more than 50 lvls at 50 its really Veteran Rank 1 and then you go to 10 from there. A lot more lvls to go and the xp jumps from 143k to hit 50 to from vet rank 1 to 2 its like 436k and you can only get that in cyrodiil or in the veteran rank areas. 0 to 50 might be fast but to rank 10 its going to be a pita.

Crafting is a moot point once you hit your 40's, i crafted for like the first 8 lvls (as in actually crafted) after that i just deconstructed drops and i ended up at 32 in the weekend betas. I loved it since i never had to farm mats, just needed to decon items and bam there ya go... So ya i dont see much crafting going on unless your upgrading since you can max crafting pretty much without ever having to do any crafting beside deconstructing.

I'd like some clarification on the definition of "End game" in this instance.

Is it "Maximum level"?

  • Cyrodiil (L33t s0l0 pvp g@nk all t3h n3wbs as Veteran rank 10. Something I enjoy doing myself, this sentence is not intended to mislead into making you believe I'm referring to everyone that indulges in player-versus-player interactions. I'm not. Thank you captainkrunch94 for making me aware this may mislead people.)
  • Crafting (Not restricted to "End game", obviously enough)
  • Adventure Zones (Get shouted at in Teamspeak for unleashing Extended P@1n Ch@in$ on everything under the guise of role-playing drunk after that Skooma your provisioner made you)
  • Veteran Dungeons
  • Awkward Achievements you couldn't be bothered to do before "End game"

What else is there?

Because when they talk about the 'end-game' they talk about what there is to do when you reach the level cap Whether it's level 50, 60 or 120, it doesn't matter, the point remains the same. Don't get caught up in trivialities and forget the big picture.

But more importantly, why will it be a 'pita'? Why is something that takes time not desirable? Perhaps you might find yourself having more of an enjoyable game-experience if you don't try to rush to the 'finish line', and enjoy the game's content as you come across it instead of rushing past? But each to their own, *shrugs*.

Thing is, I'm not "stereotyping" anyone captainkrunch94.

I construct my words always with the utmost respect and humility towards my fellow denizens off of Earth.

I for one, enjoy being the one to smite the helplessly under-gunned fellow members of my species in a player-versus-player setting.

I worded that sentence like that for comic-relief, so others that find amusemant in being that entity can relate and reminisce over our entertaining and amusing ganks amongst players seemingly away-from-keyboard in the menu.

I also regret you thought I was saying that was the majority of players, I apologise that you misunderstood. I thought it would be enough to not go into specific details on demographics, I.E: "Go to Cyrodiil for pvp and be an X and Y like everyone else." I'll edit my previous post for clarity in hopes of not having others misunderstand.

Newly released MMOs are always more "limited" when it comes to end-game content available. The question to ask isn't what's "currently" available but rather "what will they make available in the near future". By the time you reach level 50, earn your Veteran rank 10, clear all of the hard-mode dungeons (for the PvE'ers) and experience everything Cyrodil has to offer (for the PvP'ers), Adventure Zones should be out for you to enjoy.

Unless of course, your goal is to race through everything like your virtual pants are on fire, in which case you may find yourself waiting for the next bit of content to be released. Of course there is nothing wrong with the speed racer type of play, some people enjoy it and that's perfectly fine, just expect some idle time spent undressing in whatever major city you fancy, dancing around in your undies for the world to see (that's usually what bored people do, right?)

Exploring the rest of Tamriel with lvl 50 content I think.... And most likely tons of additional lvl 50 content added over time.

Questions
1. Did you eat upstairs or stay in your moms basemant to eat?

2. Can you afford the monthly subscription fee with your unemployment check?

3. What did you eat for those 5 days?

Yes, same. PvE player here but I did enjoy the PvP style of play much more than I thought I did.

P.S. I used to know a captainkrunch from pimpwar about a million years ago.
