So I've just started playing Fallout 3 and I feel as though after only a few hours, I've already hit a bit of a wall. I'm not entirely sure what to do with myself, other than wander around the wasteland. I was hoping that the Bethesda treatment of the series would have that TES flair where you could play for hours and hours without ever having touched the main quest, but I feel as though at this point there isn't much else I can do. I looked on the Fallout wiki and the number of sidequests available seems woefully thin. It's unfortunate because the gameplay itself is incredible fun, and the wasteland is compelling and immersive (although the endless subway tunnels get boring after five minutes), but there just doesn't seem to be a whole lot of content to flesh it out. Am I missing out on something? Or is this game just not for me?
