Nothing, except Cyrodiil itself and a few sentimental quests and characters. Skyrim is kind of a literal sequel to Oblivion in that it has everything its predecessor had, but improved in every conceivable way and with more content to boot. Sorry. :P

Just the land and the stories in game itself but most of all the lives I created for my characters in the capital of the empire.

I dunno, I don't actually know whats "missing" from Skyrim. :banghead:

Aside from that, nothing really. Not unless my copy of Oblivion bursts into flame the moment the Skyrim cd enters my house...

Spellmaking isn't confirmed to be out. I honestly can't answer this question until I play Skyrim.

Hard to say since i haven't played Skyrim yet. It seems it has most of the things i liked from both Oblivion and Morrowind. Ofcause there is some things i do not know anything about yet like the Arena. Yes i would definitely miss the arena.

Wow that's a tough question, at least to me... :teehee:
I'm guessing... the soundtracks? Other than that, can't come up with anything

What I won't miss is selecting attributes to level from a list whenever I level up. That was always stupid to me.

Another thing I won't miss is Oblivion's [censored] gravity. I hope they get it a little closer to earth's this time.

I think you misread the title :P
It's what you are going to miss, not what you aren't going to miss ^^

I don't really know how we can answer that question, since Skyrim isn't out yet and all.

Spears. Oh, wait . . .

Well, I'm going to miss Oblivion's minimal level scaling, that's for sure.

M'aiq if he doesn't make it into Skyrim. And it's been 200 bloody years . . . I don't think he's gonna make it into Skyrim :sadvaultboy:

Oh, and all those friendly guards . . . "Stop right there, criminal scum!"

Attributes, Classes, Birthsigns, Spellcreation, Mysticism, Acrobatics, Athletics...
The soundtrack, the lush green forests, the world in general.

I feel like I'm forgetting something, but for now this will suffice.

I'll miss Lucien Lachance, Patrick Stewart & Sean Bean and the comic relief that the faces and voices that some of the NPCs bring (most Bosmers comes to mind xD)

Other than that, nothing. If someone liked Oblivion, they are going to LOVE Skyrim. I just hope that they expand upon that and make it more hardcoe.

I don't think I'm going to miss anything from Oblivion. I will miss some of the things that were in Oblivion - attributes, birthsigns, spellmaking and athletics and acrobatics skills, to name a few - but I wouldn't have wanted them done the way they were done in Oblivion anyway. I just would've much preferred that they be rethought and rebalanced rather than simply thrown away.

Attributes haven't been completely "thrown away" and spellmaking is not confirmed to be out. Hope that eases your worries a little bit.
