I miss Baurus.

That's all. I'm playing Skyrim to play Skyrim. I'd play Morrowind or Oblivion if I wanted to play Morrowind or Oblivion.

Spell crafting, I played through Oblivion once as a mage and that made the game more enjoyable.

I miss the larger cities, but by comparison Skyrim has civilized pockets everywhere. Orc Strongholds FTW

Levitation would be broken. (Obvious reasons)
Spell making was exploitive. (Jesus spells+it wouldn't really work since magic has been reworked.)
Major and minor skills made leveling beyond dumb. ("Oh god I need +5!")

I miss the number of spells. (That were useful)

Spell Making. Mages are pure crap without it.

Mostly spell effects, and more weapon variation. Overall I'm really liking Skyrim, and what Bethesda has introduced. I love Smithing (not exploiting it), and the concept of Perks. I still miss the old Morrowinds Major/Minor skills classes though, and some of the skills like Acrobatics and Athletics (I could imagine some really fun perks for them).

The intense amount of customization I had by using mods (it'll come to Skyrim in time though)
Spellcraft
H2H
Athletics and Acrobatics
Attributes (to some extent at least)

Spell crafting...i was hoping that they would improve upon it and was highly disappointed when I found out it was gone. I don't understand why they added smithing which is cool yet took away spell crafting which is basically smithing for mage's.

I also miss the item dupe glitch

I don't like antithreads, but with how that other one only really served as a "I like what beth has removed, screw anyone who doesn't" I'l make an exception. like seriously anyone who thinks removing options purely for their taste at the loss of others don't deserve crap.

Spell making, especially what it could have been in Skyrim.

Weapon Variation, especialyl what it could have been in Skyrim.

guild/faction stories that are longer than 2 pages.

All the utility spells that gave OPTIONS on how/what kind of mage you wanted to be.

Attributes, I'm tired of this monotonous character system.

a slower pace, damn I thought Oblivion rushed you into things, this MQ dumps everything right on you, not the haste, but..just everything, your immediately told who you are and what you should do >_>.

otherwise Its fine, the sense of discovery is there (kinda) their are what I believe to be an as sload of unaffiliated quests, Dragons add a new dynamic to traveling, and the people are somewhat believable.

I play a Battlemage. I don't mind picking locks, but for my style of play I miss the lock opening spells. I also liked the chameleon spell.

There are other things I miss but I won't list them all as they're more trivial.

If I had to pick a top 3, here it is:

1. Spellcrafting. They have to put this back in. Hoping for an expansion or DLC. The game works without it, but it's just so much fun that I want it back.

2. Attributes. Just give us back the attributes. Maybe they don't do awhole lot, but they do something. Whereas Health/Magika/Stamina do that and only that. I'm not expecting the attributes to come back in Skyrim, but hopefully the next game.

3. Solstheim. I just miss it. Now is the perfect oppertunity to bring it back! (even though it technically is in Morrowind)

Otherwise I miss Medium armor, spears and crossbows.

Attributes. I liked the attributes damn it! A little perseverance and Bethesda could maybe have came up with a better system and removed some of Morrowind and Oblivions flaws instead of saying 'screw it' and throwing the whole lot out the window. I was picking 'perks' in the Jason and the Argonauts game back in 2008 and that, my friends, was not a good game.

I agree levitating was fun in Morrowind, just imagine taking on a dragon in Skyrim-in the sky! Look out fire breath i'm coming to get you, flap those leathery wings all you like, your ass is mine!
