Cooking.....alchemy?
Woodcutting....a job to earn money instead of finding it or glitchin for it?

I think they're all pretty self-explanatory, they don't need a whole thread just to speculate what they are going to be.

but they r skills not freakin attributes

they are not skills, they are activities. Smithing and alchemy are skills, but wood-cutting is not a skill, cooking is 99.999% surely not a skill and mining is not a skill either.

Mining - Smithing
Cooking - Food, not alchemy (that's potions and poisons)
Woodcutting - Arrow shafts and Weapon hafts (axes and polearms)

these things are for the sake of roleplay, you don't need them, but they are avaible for you! But imagine you are some kind of worker who work at the mines, you always wake up 6 o clock and go to your "friend" (npc) house to wait for him, while his wife do you some coffe, when he finaly get ready, you two can finaly go to work in the nearby mines, its a hard job, it doesn't pay that well, one day, some kind of strange thing happened to you, and you decided that wasn't your life anymore, you needed to move on, you tell your friend that your going to be a adventurer from now on, and probaly will try to learn somenthing about blacksmithing, in my case, i would join the dark brotherhood, kill alot of people, and then i would tell to my friend what i've been doing, hes going to hate me for it, but, i can offer him and his wife tons of gold, for all the help they gave me when i was a poor beggar in the streets, who knows what comes next.. its all up to you...
