Hey, I haven't heard about this game before but I just noticed these forums on the list among the other Bethesdas forums and it got my interest. As a fan of boardgames I'm already familiar with name "Cthulhu" because of Fantasy Flight Games (http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_minisite.asp?eidm=6&enmi=Arkham%20Horror and http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_minisite.asp?eidm=168&enmi=Elder%20Sign). My question is how this game is related to those boardgames? Has Bethesda made a PC game based on them?

The game is not even close to the boardgames. Its more like FPS game with dark atmosphere.

That's what I assumed because this is Bethesda game, but I'm more curious to know how this is related to those because it can't be accident this game has "Cthulhu" in it's name. How much similarities this game shares with those board games? Clearly it has the same lore as it's name reveals but what else it has? Same/similar story? Same characters? Same Ancient Ones? etc.

All i know is the game is more like a reimagining of Lovecraft's 1936 novella The Shadow over Innsmouth. I never play this boardgames, but you cam be sure. The game have strong story. Sorry for my bad english : )
