What town/fort is this in this screenshot?

Post » Wed Sep 21, 2011 5:54 am

This from the demo when Todd is fighting the dragon on top of the tower.

Whiterun is to his N-NW.

So when the dragon flies this way, he whips around and is pointing to the Northwest, meaning the town/fort is almost directly west of the current tower.

The only thing I can possibly think of that way is Granite Hall?

Don't know, don't care. It's a fort, that's good enough for me.

Well then get out of the topic. You obviously care enough one way or the other to waste your time and ours by responding.

I'm more intrigued by the structure/fort midway up the big mountain on the right in this map screen http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/7804/skyrimmapframe8619.png

Me too. You can actually see that when todd is fighting the giant,or when it's running towards him in the demo.

It seems like the tower from the gameplay videos where Todd uses the "Detect Life" Spell.

(That if we are talking about the same structure in the picture.)

No, that mountain that the tower is on is Throat of the World, which is opposite from the stone tower near Bleak Falls Barrow. When Todd is riding the horse to Bleak Falls, he stops and looks across to Throat of the World.

Maybe I'm blind. But I don't see any structures on the mountain. I know it's there cuz more than one person has seen it, but I just can't find it.

I'm on my phone, otherwise i'd circle the structure for you. It's about midway up on the left side if that mountain. You can see it much better if you zoom in.

looks like its a small fortified town. either that or the forts in skyrim are waaaaaaay bigger than the ruined ones in oblivion.
