What type of apparel would you like to see

I just finally completed Operation: Anchorage and I am enjoying the Chinese Stealth Armour.

Hopefully F4 has the option to mix and match outfits. Not just keep one solid outfit for this or that. In NV, I would have liked to had the option to mix certain outfits, with others.

I'd like for the ability to put some clothes over others (like Styles mentioned) and I'd like a variety of appearances, color, etc. for stuff like the leather armor, metal armor, and combat armor. It'll add a fair bit of colorful variety to the game, which seems to be the goal for F4 judging by the trailer.

Might be, they got an serious backlash from dropping tops and bottoms in Skyrim. This was a lot because of memory limits on previous generation.

ESO has more slots than Oblivion.

On the gripping hand Fallout has always used full body armor including boots and gloves.

The construction set on the other hand had loads of slots :)

To be honest, I sort of prefer the full outfits, it just fits the game and world better IMO. I just want to be able to more or less combine ones that can go together (such as combat armor and a bounty hunter's duster).

I would LOVE a system like Morrowind where you had slots for upper body armor, leg armor, boots, left hand, right hand, right shoulder, left shoulder, shirt and pants under all that, and a robe over it all.

Kind of makes me wish I'd completed it earlier. I keep stopping to admire it. Such stealth.

The thing that would please me the most is to have a greater variety in viable clothing/armor at any particular stage in the game. Too often there was one choice that was vastly superior to all others and it was just silly not to where it. I think NV was better on this account than FO3, but it could be a lot better.

I also kept my Armored Vault Suit in FO3, and I would switch out of my Operation Anchorage Power Armor for that whenever I was inside not shooting people in the face.

A lot of medium and light armor types, I like to play as a long range sniper.

Given that Fallout Shelter is kind of like a marketing thing for F4, outfits in that might relate to outfits in the game.

And considering I've just found an "officers uniform" I definitely hope so because I need me one of those in F4.

Considering how the new layers of armour systems works then who knows. You'll likely be able to just fashion your own raider style armour form parts and what-ever base clothing you want.

That would honestly be brilliant. I really hope that armour customisation makes it all the way through and not just for Power Armour.

You can see it in the gameplay videos mate, you have clothing and then an armour slot for each arm, leg, torso and head onto which you can place craft armour.

I know the part you're talking about and it certainly looks like it but they didn't show it being changed and modified like the Power Amour so I'm just reserving my hype for it :D

CHINESE STEALTHSUIT COMEBACK.

And masks, if I cant play a ninja character this will all be for naught.

However, I've already seen some direct or indirect hints from the videos for masks or headgear that "will do".

I shall cancel my pre-order if sixy Sleepwear and Naughty Nightwear do not return.

(Kidding. Or am I?)
