What Type Of Character Will You Be Playing As?

A Warrior in heavy armor, sword and shield, but still using spells sometimes, like fireballs.

Stealth/dagger emphasis. I want to kill things before they know I'm there. I'll probably use archery, but my first playthrough won't emphasize it much at all. Not planning on using any magic, though the dragon-shouts sound interesting. Not planning on using armor either, if it can be effectively avoided. I'd like my character to be light on her feet, silent, and effective in very specialized areas. And really screwed when she gets seen, because that's fun.

Assassin class from Oblivion basically (sneak, alchemy, marksmanship etc), but possibly with the addition of illusion spells.

I keep changing my mind! I like stealthy type characters, I like magic, I'm keen to try out an archer... it's too difficult to decide.

Therefore my first character probably won't have a specific plan or direction. I'm a chronic restarter anyway, so I'll probably try out a few different characters over the first few days then change my mind when I've levelled a few times!

If "Quick Warrior Using Small Arms" includes a sword and shield, then that.

Yeach Bethesda, some crossbows will be a nice addition to game, Typical to assassin character, but i think we will not see them in skyrim, just like spear.

Probably not as my frist play through, but I wanna make a samurai type character :D. Some kind of armoured robes if possible, and a one handed sword taking up both hands like in the one picture. He may end up becoming my assassin after he's done fighter's guild or something like that. (I want him to start by fighting the honorable way face to face, and then I can pretend something special happened that made him toss aside his pride and values.)

Samurai, ooooooooooo I like that idea, holding a huge samurai and sprinting towards someone and then giving them a huge blow to the head, or just slicing it off altogether, this may be my 3rd character ;)

1ST CHARACTER: A Breton battlemage specializing in restoration instead of destruction. More defensive then offensive, this class is more of a healer then a magically buffed up warrior.

2ND CHARACTER: A Dark Elf nightblade. Will mostly play this class as a thief but with magic to help fend off enemies when discovered.

First character will be a khajit warrior with sword and shield and hopefully a katana since a few Blades are apparently in.

Second a Nord Barbarian with 2 handed weapons.

Thats all ive thought of. :D

I want to be an archer mage that sneak attacks with poisons for critical damage. I'll shoot arrows at long/medium range, cast spells at medium to short range (mostly to disable or mess with my enemies) and when I'm out of magicka and they're in my face I'll use an enchanted dagger and shield (enchanted with reflect dmg/spells etc) so I voted for: "A More Sinister Character Poisoning My Foe's Mentally Or Physically"

My character will most likely be a breton primarily for that magicka resistance and secondary to the magicka boost. Depending how things change I may switch to a high elf or (hopefully) even a dark elf if racial perks benefit what each race is described as in the lore.

I voted "need more info"
The truth is my 1st caracter will be a Jack of all trades type so that I can test all the options out with one caracter. after that I will have enough info to decide what I want to do for my next caracter. Bethesda could never give me enough information before the release of the game for me to answer this question before playing the game.

Mine will be a paladin/cleric/knight type character using a mace/shield, heavy armor and healing magic mostly, with a little destruction thrown in, so it does not really fit any of the choices.
