I voted other for all of them, as most companions tend to be stupid as hell and svck at sneaking.

Largely depends on my character. For my Nord Dovakhin I think a bard to write songs of my story would be a great companion. If that is possible.

For my Argonian Assasin (without a spear :sadvaultboy: ) a fellow assasin, probably argonian aswell. Not with any bow tho, want him to be rather bloodthirsty, not really think things through. I might even want him to almost be a warrior but that doesn't add that great together with stealth play. So maybe a Hybrid? Dualwielding sword, able to sneak guy. Light armor definitly.

I mostly play as a battlemage so having a marskman / ranger with a deadly accuracy would be great ! The deadliest team ever ...

i would like an inteligent nord warrior (not a hulking barbarian) that i can have a laugh with and have very fun in battle with! dont really care about the six
and if not that i would like a dog...or a bear...

I doubt I'll have a companion. However if i did it would only be animal. Whatever...dog, chicken, horker, sabertooth.(I know it will only be dog).

But can't bear annoying people companions that completely disobey you. Like, full on charging when you try sneaking up to an enemy and stealing your XP

My character will likely have a dog at home (if we're allowed to leave companions there) but since I'm playing as a hot chick, red haired, in your face battle mage I think a male Khajiit ranger (hopefully with white and grey spotted fur) would compliment her nicely. Its like having a person and a pet at the same time.

For romance I think I'll probably go with a Nord or Imperial...I don't really find the elves attractive and the a beast race would just be weird! Ewwww! Most likely Nord, unless the height looks weird since I'm playing Breton.

I tend to play as a warrior so I'd like a ranger to back me up. (Provided the AI is smart enough to hit the enemy, and not me. Friendly fire isn't that friendly.)

What they'd be would probably depend on what I was. Likely have them the same race as myself.

Now that we know we can only have one companion to compliment us, what's the best fit for you?

It really depends on what they mean. If it is one companion at a time, they will likely vary. If it is one companion throughout the whole game, then it will be a harder choice.

A dude with a bow. Or a mage. Either way, they best be wisecracking while slinging arrows or spells.
