What type of companion will complement you most?

Now that we know we can only have one companion to compliment us, what's the best fit for you?

Female Bosmer Ranger. Probably won't happen, though.

Probably a ranger for me, that way they wont get in the way of my spells..... As for six it doesnt matter, and race id either pick khajiit, argonian or a bosmer.

It will depend on the character
If I had to choose one companion to suit all characters it would be an Irish wolfhound though

An agile rogue/thief. Most likely to be female. :hubbahubba:
I want to be better than anyone with a bow. :meh:
That's why I couldn't stand Boone in NV, killing all my baddies with his rifle, it hurts my ego.
I've got personal issues.. maaaan.
Edit: personal issues

I think you mean "complement"? We all know the companion who will compliment us most; he's a scrawny little Bosmer who says "By Azura, by Azura, by Azura..."

I like the idea of having a hunchbacked servant with a pair of coconuts to save me having to buy a horse. For combat's sake though I'd like to have someone like my own character -- good with magic, but not averse from running in with a weapon for a melee. I would like to have a female Imperial as a companion, so I can try out the marriage system, but what if companions die all the time? I don't want my virtual spouse to die...

My companion needs to comb my character's hair and keep it in good shape

I was thinking a Faerie could do it but Faerie's were scrapped from the game. So maybe a baby Imp will do.

I usually go solo, but if i should have one it would have to be an animal or some annoying adoring fan-ish kind of character.
The servant with coconuts might work as well.

1 - Other. My character will want to have a companion he can trust and rely on, regardless of profession or skill.
2 - Other. Gender doesn't matter.
3 - Other. Species doesn't matter.

Other: The companion that complements me most is the troika of Me, Myself, and I.

I really like doing damage from afar at first. I picked a dog because he could distract the enemy while I am doing some hardcoe damage from a far at first but I would take some kind of warrior too.

Having an assassin companion who jumps your foes out of nowhere would be nice.

I would totally want a hawk or a raven, and perhaps a wolf. Perhaps.

I personally fell in love with Imoen in bladurs gate all those years ago, so I'd have to say a female rouge\thief like character, preferably a cheerful one that loves to perform pranks xD.

I would have made a beast poll, but i'm not sure what animals will be found in Skyrim and at the same time- where do we draw the line on beasts? I think Mudcrabs and Mammoths would be out of the question. lol
