Really though...I get them from many sources, and rarely recycle them.

This time I think I will be referencing The book of fifty names of Marduk, defeater of the ancient ones....

I have a notepad on my desktop with about thirty different names, which I use from game to game.

If I don't get the first name on the list, I'll move down to the next one. The first five names are variations of the same name. I guess you could say my characters name is lore friendly, though she won't have a second name.

I always try to use names that will fit in the world for the character I'm playing, whether I actually roleplay or not.

It may not really mean anything but it will look and sound like it goes in the world. So, RP I suppose; though that encompasses both funny and serious, at the same time sometimes.

First and second name here, it harks back to very early ayelid name.

I was thinking maybe some thing along the lines of...

Stands While Peeing...

100% Lore Friendly names.

One name I have in mind is 5 words long, thus can not be enter in the char creation screen, I might use the 1st letter of the that name. If anyone ask me or talk to me / my char, I will freely tell them what those letters mean. The name is lore friendly, just to long for the game to use.

Notepad with a few names I've used before with ones I've not used before too.

The name I intend to use for my first character, I don't think it looks lore-friendly but It's pronunciation definitely sounds similar to Altmer names, which is really convenient and fortunate for me. Yay.

Decent Argonian name too, besides that and the Altmer name. I lack inspiration to create names that are truly gratifying.

In LotRO, I went with a cheese theme for all my toon names. Here I will be doing the same thing, but just not cheeses. I will miss Berkswell and Chedder as names how ever.

I'm going to be using a guttural Orc name, one reminiscent of the last sputtering sound you hear from someone with a spear through their throat.

Or Joe Bloggs, I haven't decided.

When in doubt, there is always a random name generator web sites to use to think of a lore friendly name. Just google, "elder scrolls random name generator" or "skyrim random name generator" to find the web sites.

I usually just use a name from a book I have read.

I don't do funny names, i have to have a cool/kind of serious name in order to even take my character seriously lol.
