The title covers it all, I see "for Type 3" on Fallout3Nexus all the time, but I have no clue what that is xD. Can anyone enlighten me?

Female designs. umm.......what else. Its a flavor of body type. I like the big boob/butt type so I never use it though, unless its in a companion format for a little variety. =)

There are many flavors of body types in FO3 actually. But you have fewer for male bodies, naturally more males play and prefer to see naked chix. Just reality =)

It's a body replacement mod, bit of eye candy one might say

Its one of the many umpteen million no-content fan service mods. Which is annoying because I have to wade through it constantly to find stuff that actually belongs in the game. I swear people have to pleasure themselves while playing the game or something with half the pictures I see, it's ridiculous; so sorry if I'm calling your mod that took a lot of talent and man hours to make but is essentially a fan service no-content. I just wish you'd spend the effort on something thats marketable.

Human nature, six is in....so shall it be for another few thousand years to come ^_^

Wanting your character/companion to look good isn't always sixual. How many people seriously (Not jokingly) play with intentionally ugly characters? Wanting to use a body mod does not constitute liking to see virtual naked people.

Wait this is a joke post, I get it. Look at the user screenshots for Type 3 practically any mod, you'll find someone fighting to survive the wastes naked, topless, bottomless or in the most [censored]ty outfit imaginable with triple d's. Its so anime it makes my head hurt. And then there are all the spread eagle and blatent two people [censored] screenshots too, and you seriously believe people don't get their jollies while playing FO3? :facepalm:

I'm not saying body-mods themselves are bad (I use one for m/f), nor am I some puritanical evangelist here to tell you about the dangers of mastvrbation and six, I just think it's a little pathetic people resort to that over FO3. And it annoys the crap out of me that I get to wade through hundreds of those mods every time I look for something with any sort of taste or actually belongs in the game.

Look at it this way. If you see a female raider in one of the raider outfits, you see that she is definitely wearing no bra. Then, when you take it off, it magically appears!

I don't mind a realistic (Type V) body replacer. But I'd never use any revealing clothing mods that don't fit in the game.

This is all I've said. I don't care about the body replacer's it's the 80 billion "sixY" ARMOR MOD TYPE 3 kind of crap I get to wade through.

Just as a heads up, you're not allowed to say bad things about the barbie posers in the community. Photoshopping soft focus onto sreeenshots of dead-eyed over speculared polygonal "women" is a serious creative endeavour. The thread's probably going to get locked.

marketable? erm. Body mods are extremely popular, some have the highest download numbers of any mods out there.
If I wanted to market something, or even just cared about # of mod downloads, I would certainly make a body mod.

my most downloaded mod for oblivion was a normal map replacer for Roberts Male body. It took 1 evening to make.

Don't be dense, you can't tell me you'd use something like "Trynfkwtmes nvde Armors" in a portfolio while applying for a job.

Learn to read people for the last time I'm not talking about body mods specifically I'm talking about stuff like http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5028, which is actually one of the pretty tame ones but it's still pretty ridiculous. I know I would be wearing essentially a bikini as I smote down my enemies and braved the horrors of a post apocalypse world :rolleyes: And they take up literally half of each page when I try to look for stuff.

All I'm saying is we need less of that crap and more stuff like UNAR, FWE, Warhammer 40k Armors and your own Cybermen.

Well, as they say: six sells. Most players and modders being men, there won't ever be a shortage of such things. And there are women making stuff like this too, such as the recent high quality "Beware of Girl" stuff on the Nexus :hubbahubba: I doubt some of those modders would even make any other sorts of mods.

It can't really be changed, so just block advlt content and pretend it doesn't exist

Beware of Girl is one of the nvde mods? I saw a gun in the pic on the main page and was thinking of getting it, but now I'm not :l
Blocking advlt content doesn't always work, either. I've seen mods where people try being smart and make a mod that is sort of an addon to a nvde mod or is a nvde mod, but they don't mark it as advlt. Jerks..

I completely agree there are too many of these mods out there. Why even bother wearing armor and texturing it and such. Why not just make it transparent? And have everyone use that one thing and run around the wastes naked with the DR of power armor some how. Again it takes away from more interesting and legit mods. How many mods does something with factions and lifestyles that isn't purely cosmetic? No interesting cannibal or The Family mods out there.
