What version of Wrye Bash are you using to play the game? No

Post » Sun Jun 12, 2011 5:58 pm

I'm using WB 287 and I'm thinking to upgrade to WB 292.
If you are using a WB version not listed, please specify.
Thanks for your input!

292. It has some bugs, but 293 won't be far off, and you can get rid of most if not all of the bugs by disabling CBash for now.

291. I've downloaded 292 but I'm lazy and haven't installed it yet

292 + SVN updates, since I play on the bleeding edge anyway (plus I'm testing some of them too)

I had heard that about 293. I wasn't sure how many bugs were found in the non-CBash version.
I'm mostly interested to find out how many people use the SVN patches regardless of what version they use.

I voted 292, once I disalbled CBash. If you read the Wrye Bash thread alot, you will realise that many of the bugs in the latest svn's are fixed fairly quickly after they have been found and reported.

292 with CBash disabled (Might be worth adding this option to the poll actually.)

I am eagerly awaiting the benefits of CBash, but until the bug reports subside, I am sticking with v291 (w/o svn patches).

Hmm. I thought I read that 291 had problems with startup initially (a show stopper). Since there was no new release like 291a, I figured everyone was using an SVN patch. Maybe I misread something.

Wrye Bash is Wrye Bash. Can you play a heavily modded game without it?
If there's problems with version 292 I know for a fact that Lojack and Pacific Morrowind are right on top of them and any issues will be corrected in a matter of days.

Kinda pointless thread if you ask me.

I do the same disable CBash until 293 is released, but an option for those who are using Wrye Bash Stand Alone 291/292 should be added in this poll too. Perhaps add an optional for what version of Python you're using with Wrye Bash.

Python 2.6.5 - WryePython 03aPython 2.7

For stability as mentioned already - v292 ( either Python or WBSA (no python required) ) wih CBash disabled = No problems. Its the best version yet and well worth upgrading to whether you want to be involved with getting CBash stable or not.

Personally I just carried on using svn's (haven't downloaded official 292 - no need if I have it already from the svn)

Same here...snv's.

Edit: don't notice that option in the poll.....

Snv's /without Official download= 292 Alpha?
