Please... no anime..
I can't really think of any specific voice actors. Seth Green.
As for accents:
I want voice actors that you would expect.
Imperial : General American
Breton : British
Argonian : Someone who can sound like a lizard.
Khajiit : Someone who can sound like a cat.
Nord : Their previous voice actor fit just fine imo. Someone scottish.
Orc : Someone who sounds very intimidating.
Wood Elf : Someone who sounds annoying. It's just wood elf nature.
Dark Elf : Morrowind sounding.
High Elf : A pompous bastard.
Redguard : African American.

Sean Bean was unique to Oblivion. Though, I wouldn't really care if he returned because he's a really good voice actor.

Well, I'd say that Nords should have more of a Swedish accent, if anything ... And as for Redguard, either African American or Middle-Eastern...

i would like to see amongst the others mentioned...

a funny character with christoper walkin's voice, or sean connery, or the asian guy from the hangover, or russel brand, or ricky gervais

just a few people to play a few unique characters who are funny as hell or are evil/good...that would be so awesome if say christoper walkin played a count/king of a particular city....

David Hayter with his Solid Snake voice. Would make an awesome homage as the Grandmaster of the Thieves' Guild. :celebration:

But seriously, seventy voice actors? That's really good. Morrowind had only a few voice actors, but you didnt notice it because only greetings and major characters were voiced. It was much more noticeable in Oblivion, especially with the Multiple Personality Beggars.

maybe actors doing voice cameos?

also the dude that does zero punctuation! ya...having Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw voice a npc that is cursed to never use punctuation or stop for breath so if you get him into a long conversation he will pass out or die. a interesting character like the dude from OB's shivering Ilse that you could not hear unless you got a magic fork from Big Head. developers could do some cool things with it. a assassination target that had a bonus if it seemed like a suicide or a mage guild quest that you had to cure him. just a random thought...

I wonder if they realize that they don't have to pay to have a huge stable of voice actors.

You pay the professionals, and the starpower. And then you hold auditions for the voice acting communities that have sprung up, and let nobodies have a crack at the others. You'd be surprised at all the unknown, and niche talent there is online in this field. Just look at the abridgers. I'm sure that they'd like to do something mainstream like a voice for an elder scroll title.

I don't want to SEE any voice actors :P

Oh, for kicks so this isn't spam...how about the old 7-Up guy from teh 70's and 80's...also did a stint as the voodoo guy in a bond film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvdLfyctct8

For a woman, depends...sultry still = Sally Kellerman; evil = Kathleen Barr, who's done a ton of voice work.

So true, there's nothing that takes me out of immersion than recognizing a voice actor.
