I think our members realize that a quick release is potential and anything proposed or suggested is not going to be added unless via DLC. Contrary to how a post may be reading as a request, I view all of them as hopeful statements to what a member would like to see.

Quite the contrary, I created this thread so Bethesda could see what it's players want in any future Fallout games/DLC's.

I think that they could possibly implement these things or if not follow the path of Paradox DLC releases that not only odd new content but also improves on actual game mechanics. I don't want another horse armor dlc like the last time.

- A more immersive hardcoe mode meaning that by default there is normal (typical Fallout 3 experience + plus new Fallout 4 features people have been suggesting).

hardcoe gamers can switch the difficulty to hardcoe where the environment and everything there is hates you. At least this can cater to both fanbases.

1. Irradiated zones are really irradiated and can potentially kill you.

2. The climate can potentially kill you through exposure to elements

3. Basic needs and other typical hardcoe needs like no fast travel but it is replaced by caravans

- A better stealth system similar to Metro Last Light where light plays an important role (i.e. I can shut down ambient light to improve my stealth) and stealth kills.

- A better cover system even if it is simplified like Wolfenstein The New Order.

- Dual Wielding Small firearms based on strength, agility and guns skill

- Nearly everything that Obsidian did for New Vegas like damage thresholds etc.

- An improved armor system where you can shoot at weakpoints in the enemies armor for more damage. Overlays depending on your helmet/goggles

- Power armor finally feeling like power armor meaning that it can turn someone into a walking tank.

- More mature themes like gray morality, sixuality, choice (you get the drift)

- Better melee system with the incorporation of possibly riot shields + any other weapons.

- Everything Project Nevada and Eve have done.

- Interactive environment in relation to your stats and equipment (i.e. Wearing power armor? You can flip over the car wreckage for cover or fling it at opponents)

- More intelligent AI in using the following features above

Since the first Fallout I have always wanted the option to send "snail mail" to other parts of the game.. Vegas has something similar to it..but would like to see a Post-apocalyptic type of Pony Express... WOuld be a great side quest to have .. I got a bunch of them.. another one is at some-point you meet the MOB in the game..like where Jimmy Hoffa is buried type scenario.. Another Idea is to have old defunct shoe stores.. and you can find better made boots or shoes to swap out or trade or just wear in general.. again to a slight degree Vegas had it the mansion portion .. Or how about a Fall-out style pool..you see people lounging by a "green water" pool..

I love the little social and everyday pieces you see in the game..

I'd like one of my safe houses to be a radio station. I'd much rather collect music tapes scattered about the game world than putting bobble-heads on a special shelf. Much greater interactivity with the game world when you can program your own music mix. (NO mod comments please, not everyone is a PC player....)

This is coming from a PC player. I wouldn't want to see this actually, again I am a PC player. If this needs to be a thing, it can be via mod. But remember that this has to be able to go on ALL systems. The consoles have limits to this aspect. Besides... on the XBOX you can have music playing while you play. I never tried this with the PS4 however...

what i want is that the game fexceeds all my expectations

i am not going to sum up a list what i want in this game , i am sure i will get plenty of content

BGS has a good reputation in that from oblivion to Fallout 3 and skyrim , each time they managed to amaze us with something that was just that bit better than all the competition , i expect the same with this game

I want a button dedicated to playing animations for the player character so that I can easily take wicked screenshots of her.

You should also allow modders to easily add their own animations into this feature.

Crafting. In FNV and Skrim, I find myself collecting ever little bit of plants, junk and anything else that can be used to craft potions, food, etc.

My post copied from another thread because it's relevant here-
"First of all, good to be back here. I haven't posted on these forums in for ever, it's nice to see some familiar old timers, as well as all the new posters.

Personally, I hope the power armor clad faction isn't technically the "brotherhood of steel", rather, I'd like it to be what the Lyons brotherhood/ capital wasteland has turned into after the events of fallout 3.

One of my biggest fears for this game is that the factions will be "small-time chump" factions like in FO3 (brotherhood, enclave, rivit city, megaton, tenpany tower etc). While it's true some of the factions possessed advanced tech and were fully capable of war, all the factions felt small to me. Rather than seeing factions that only have a population of several hundread, and only occupy say a building or small town like we had in 3, I want big factions that control entire states like in NV.

The state that forms out of the events from fallout 3 would be perfect, seeing as, like the NCR, all the back story is there from a previous game, it's just a matter of filling in what happened between then and now. Plus it makes the faction more personal.

The Lyons BoS never really kept to the objective of the brotherhood. After the fall of the enclave, the eradication of the super mutants (that almost certainly took place after the events of 3), and the activation of project purity, it only makes sense to me that all these "small-time" factions in the calitol wasteland form a unified state as they start to collectively rebuild.

It's my hope that that's the militarized, power armored faction we're seeing in Boston. Big factions. Not little ones like "the railroad" or "the institute". Gross."

Also, not gunna lie, the though of forced back story and voiced character doesn't appeal to me. Bethesda games are my fav games. The ability to be who you want is a major appeal. The forced back story (vault dweller) isn't too bad- I did it in fallout 3. But a voiced character would be forcing a personality on my character, and that will truly hurt the way I enjoy the game.

we always kind of had forced backstory with a lot of Beth games, Heck how many times did we start off as prisoners in TES?

Oblivion and Skyrim you're prisoners, haven't played the older games before that. Now again in F4 you are coming from a vault. FNV was different since that was an Obsidian game. Oh Beth should be more original.

More Random events or encounters. Not all wacky all the time. But think about it. When you leave work or school doesn't something always happen? Maybe not directly to you, but what about the turn you didn't take or that back alleyway you never dare to enter? There's always event happening around us. Maybe an addition to more lively people to give the game a sense of realism. I'm not saying I want to save a wastelander from raiders every 5 minutes... but I hope people catch my drift. What if there's a group (cult)<-- "term used if FO3" that goes out to a designated area every Friday night and drinks liquor? Either an easy way to grab a quest or an easy way to grab their gear.

Conclusion: I want settlers and occupants to have jobs, or daily tasks. With progression or an out come.

I want a better barter system. I don't mean I want more caps from junk but I want merchants to tell you to piss off if you're tryna sell them a rusty can.

When drinking liquor/using chems or enough beer I want more than just a stat decrease but I want to see the vision go all blurry, perhaps slurred speech and stumbling kinda like the GTA series.

Why not overlays for certain head apparel? Like seeing the brim of a baseball cap or seeing through those tiny slots in power armor helmets?

Weather? This is Boston so why can't we have seasons? Why not random weather effects like rain, snow, sleet?

MORE WEAPON MODS

A harder hardcoe mode.

More exploration opportunity. I didn't like walking past boarded houses in FO3/NV.

An updated HUD.

The return of the Fallout 3 Fat Man MIRV launcher.

Tesla Cannon, baby.

I liked the flashbacks during the trailer, why not involve that in some way shape or form during the game? Playing through an ancestors memory of the resource wars or the starting moments of the Great War.

A different computer hacking/lockpicking minigame, after the same system has been used in two full games it's getting to be too easy.

More interesting tidbits found on working computers, like the emails in H&H Tools. Maybe some that can lead you to some good loot.

Being able to sprint dammit. Like someone would slowly jog away from a deathclaw.

Broader workbench recipes, why not have more than one way to craft a weapon repair kit for example.
