What i want to read. This is a shout out.

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 10:50 am

I want to read more up on some elven [censored]..

I want to get in their minds and see what they thought when they encountered the first humans. I want some actions..some defining decisions.
I want to see the whole construct in its entirety of the first era and dawn era..I mean we have some stuff on all that. The monomyth, blah blah blah.. But its nothing substantial. Flush it out. let's go there..

I want to see the prequel to Veloth's Exodus. I want to know how the hell it all went down... I want to see the argument with Veloth and his father in-law(im just makin up contextual bs). I want to see Veloth's speech in front of the tower(again imagery here). I want to see the Altmer getting changed into orcs or rubbing boethiah's [censored] all over themselves or wtf happened.

I want to see where the Redguard split from the man. I want to see the first men sailing to Yokuda.

I want a good freaking explanation/bridge/retcon on how [censored] changed from arena to daggerfall to morrowind. 1. Cyrodiil..Really? Some big jungle with one big city and then less then half a century later it becomes a fantasy medieval forested hamlet countryside with several major cities?

Really Khajiit.. Every [censored] khajiit we see in Arena across the entire continent just happens to be an Ohmes and the only explanation was that theyre the ones found everywhere else during the game arena. a bunch of guys who paint their faces like cats because they mightve had a feline ancestor...maybe.?
I was hoping for some divine or metaphysical bs explanation like a disruption of the :goodjob: uhh..magical plane or tower or lunar lorkhan makeup of secunda. Then causing all the subsequent Khajiit to be born as Ohmes for a long time.

So yeah I want some primal aldmeri perspective, some yoku epics, and some good [censored] explanations that have needed answering since 97.
You dig?

Any takers for the Sixteen and One Theses of Veloth? I might tackle it eventually if no one else is interested.

I want to read something that explains what Ebonarm's deal is. I want to read the Dwemer Creation Myth, preferably as obtuse and vague as possible. I want to read "The Sword Meeting of Pelinal Whitestrake, Ysgramor, Nerevar and Cyrus the Restless".

Thanks for finishing what I had left out...as for the legends meeting it might not be too far off.

Possibly eventually. They were options for the current sword-meeting but right now Cyrus is fighting Tiber Septim on the moon. It's a great read, search it.

I also agree in a general sense, but the thing is I outright expect it. I expect us to someday go to Hammerfell and get the only human perspective that isn't very Lorkhanic. I want to see the elven majority. Dunmer are weird in that they view the world the way men do: a testing ground to be transcended rather than a prison to be escaped and destroyed. I expect this in the eventual games in Alinor and Valenwood (seemingly inevitable based on Skyrim) and I want to see how the Khajiit are faring and what happened when the moons vanished.

I think, for all their flaws, the novel was as clear as we could get for the Hist, though. Any tree that is an entire country, race and spaceships is a bit hard to implement into normal gameplay.

WE CAN BUILD THEM. WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY.

I have been tossing around a few text ideas for the Hist, come to think. Might see those written out some day. Not that the Hist were on the list.

i game set in alinor or valenwood does appear to be seemingly inevitable..However i wouldnt b surprised if they did a game set in elsweyr..

u know what, ive been vouching for another elder scrolls adventure game..i mean wouldnt it be cool to play like some khajiiti hero or whatever..i mean like the character has a purpose and a history already made. i think that now with the technology and stuff it would make for a great "in between" game.

“Professor Numinatus, thanks. Oh, hello, baby universe person.”

Doctor of Paleonumerology, Ancestor Flutes, and Eschatonica

Wears chrono-goggles, has a Pocket Jill, sentient mothship named Cousin. Named after his cousin.

Smells of bug musk; in fact, it’s a weakness of his

Employed reluctantly by the Elder Council

Solves the things that the Dragons Can’t

Was the first person to establish the word and study of the TAL(OS)

Can’t fight worth a [censored]

Has a Secudan arquebus that shoots good ideas.

Was once found meditating with a Borrowed Third Eye inside the Vault of the 1,008 Cyrodiilic Weapons of Rapture.

Survived zero-sum. Noble-born child. Grew up in an alternate version of the capital city. Studied at 88 universities in the Capital City. Once burnt down Gwylim Press for disagreeing with his cousin’s treatise on Kagouti Mating Habits. That idea got Too Close for some. Naturally, this caused the very-Crowley-like faux-Skulls faux-Victorian Secret Fraternity at Gwylim to perform a scholarly, ritualistic gang [censored]. Normally, this would have vaporized her, but:

Amiel Casticus Nume and his cousin had a thing on the Topal once. That One Summer Vacation, you know the one. Where they both explained to one another the real ideas behind the universe. With sunlight on the wine.

He puts into ancestor silk the blood he wipes from her rapists just before he set them on fire. The next morning, he applies for a position as Agent Provocateur in the Elder Council.

He has a hand made of keys. Shouldn’t have happened, but that’s what happens when you pull your beloved cousin from vaporization. And then install her consciousness into Reman’s stolen mothship.

“I’ve stared at it and I remembered the Lessonates. And then I realized they’re a bit rubbish.”

His symbol is 11.
