Here is what I want , more than anything, and no -its not an Add On or anything stupid like that (before you mod the game, let the game come out and see what it has to offer)
Out of the box Quad Core Support (and Tri Core)
Out of the box Quality Sound Support
The biggest reasons for these are - well - face it, even today , years after the relase of Fallout 3 , the game still has no quad core support and crashes randomly on "high end" PCs.
Anyone that has fought with this will know what I mean, random stutters and crashes when your computer is easily over powered for even the recommended settings. We have to go in and modify the registy, and other files just to play smoother - and why? Even with all the fixes there is not 100% gurantee that it won't crash again on you, sometimes causing you to re-play hours of work. (or seemingly hours) Re-playing even a short run in this type of game is tedious and frustraighting, we don't want to visit the same place 15 times just to get the loot, we want to move on.
My system isn't as "high tech" as when Fallout 3 came out, but I still crash to this day, for no real apparent reason. I've looked at all the fixes, tried most if not all of them as well, and guess what - I STILL crash.
I want to see full out support for High Spec systems, as well as medium grade that "should be able to play it" and actual Tech Support for when it does have issues and won't play right, not like how Fallout3 was handled. I don't even want MENTION of a DLC until the base game is working fine on PCs World Wide.
My specs:
Windows 7 64bit
Intel i7 920 Quad Core
6 GB DDR3 Tri-Channel RAM
XFX HD 4890 GPU - 1GB - 975Mhz
1 TB Harddrive (plenty of room to spare)
Asus P6T Deluxe motherboard (and onboard sound since it support multi channel)
Far from "state of the art" today, but easily able to handle any game on the market.
