What we want in the DLC, Prone mode, Dual Weld Pistols +++

Post » Sat Nov 28, 2015 10:04 pm

I want a pet cat myself and I want an explanation for the cats being there in the first place. Last I've heard, cats became extinct due to being prey and a good food source for all of the new mutants and survivors. (If there is an explanation already, then I've haven't found it yet).

No. Freely duel-wielding is too overpowering in any shooter base game; there's a reason why it was removed in the Halo series. The other form of duel-wielding "isn't enough" for people because it limits duel-wielding to a specific "single" weapon (that weapon being a pair of pistols or something like that).

All popular shooting games have duel wielding like GTA or doom, with duel wielding they can reach a larger mainstream audience. fallout is a very generic game but it always felt it was missing more generic elements which would be duel wielding machine guns or shotguns.

@Jusey1

Possible explanation:

Spoiler
There′s a vault in the boston area that has been opened quite recently and it houses atleast one cat. And y′know, where there′s one...

Edit: just because every other game has akimbo, doesn′t mean Fallout needs to do that aswell.

I disagree with your 4. There are places such as portions in the glowing sea and that southeastern portion that are Inaccessable, not to mention that there isnt much other than a couple islands off the coast unless you think swiming in that huge gap is fun. To me thats just a crap, lazy job on bethesdas part.

Your list sounds like patches, not DLC.

What I want from DLC is more content, not a weapon.

Most people here are focusing on content that should be free, not story additions to the game.

That being said, I think Bethesda should explore Cape Cod ("The Cape") in future DLC. As a MA native, the cape has a major cultural and geographical significance to our state. It also would be far more diverse then what we see in the greater commonwealth.

Yeah I barely leave my crafting table as it is, if there was degradation then I'd never play. :P

Ah realism. You wake up flat on your back on the bed with a cat on your face. The damn thing follows you all over the settlement meowing until you feed it. I suspect they left them out because they didn't want to model them more than anything else. Being prey is not really a cat thing, as they naturally get much bigger when feral, and are second only to rats for being survivors.
