What we want in the DLC, Prone mode, Dual Weld Pistols +++

Post » Sun Nov 29, 2015 11:47 am

Fallout 4 is a great game, BUT for a game that had taken 4 years to make... HERE is a few things that could had made the gameplay a better experience.

1) DUAL WELD 1 hand pistols. It will be fun! IT IS ABOUT PLAYER FREEDOM!

2) Prone mode for sniping.

3) FIXING COMPANIONS FOLLOWING YOU INCORRECTLY. Not getting stuck..

4) WE WANT A BIGGER MAP! This map is SMALL. Yes it is a dense world. But we want to feel like we are in a big wasteland. Perhaps Todd can listen to us and expand west or south by at least 5 KM?

5) A CHAINSAW.. nothing beat that, a ripper is not good enough.

6) CAN WE GO BACK TO THE CAPITAL WASTELAND? FULL MAP and everything in the DLC.. no half map or quarter size.

7) WEAPON DECAY, BREAK APART AND OVERHEATING!

8) DRUGS AND BOOZE CHANGE COLOUR ON YOUR VIEWS AND KNOCK YOU OUT.

9) CARD GAMES AND SLOTS WITH CASINOS.

10) CARAVANS... You do caravan missions and get paid from A TO B

11) GOT SOME ONE IN TOWN THAT GIVE GENERIC MISSIONS THAT DELIVER ITEMS FROM A TO B, DEFEND TOWN MISSIONS AND ASSASINATION TO CRITTERS WIPEOUT MISSIONS AT SOMEWHERE IN THE MAP.

No repair please hehe

At the monent after 10 hours in game I want to be able to see my holstered weapons. It's a big disappointment, because I play always in 3rd person view.

So please Beth add it via patch or DLC.

I don't mind overheating for machine guns... but a serious NO for needing repairs. Now that most of the game is centric around crafting, this is redundant and detracting.

Also, I can do without...

Dual Wielding: Akimbo is not as effective as people really think.
Prone: You can hold your breath. That's good enough.
Bigger Map: For the sake of a bigger map. Also, you move faster in this game with less junk blocking you. The gameworld is substantially larger than FO3s and NVs.
Chain Saw: I wouldn't be against a Ripper Sword.
Capital Wasteland: Unless there is a really good reason for it story wise. Just no. Plus resources for a speedy travel is nigh impossible.
Drug Impairing Effects: I wouldn't mind small things, but nothing that would be too impairing
Caravan Missions: Just add it in as an update. It's offensive to pay 20 for just that.
The Generic Number 10: Nope. Just nope.

Yep, this.

Prefer them to fix the current bugs in the game first and foremost.

Oh, and holstered weapons, none of this monkey island "is that a minigun in you pants...." nonsense

This. I don't have the patience for things like item repair any more...loathed it in Oblivion and hope it never returns to a Beth game. I'd also like to see our weapons, even if there's serious clipping. I'd much rather see clipping then weapons floating a foot off your body.

I want a whole revamp of sneaking because it is broken. Base it off light and stuff.. Make it so you are silent and the AI isn't blind.. I want them to hear gunshots and I don't want them to backdown.. Also, add a few more paths to all environments to permit better sneaking..

OP is clearly an FPS player. Why do I say this? Look at almost any FPS game forum that doesn't have dual wield (akimbo) and prone and you will find people, usually typing in all caps, screaming at the devs to add dual wield and prone.

I'm up to 37 hours played and have CTD a grand total of THREE times. Strangely though they all were caused by the second screen activity (I selected something in the map on my ipad or tried to use a gun). For a Bethesda game that is amazing. Loading up doesn't take that long (just the lost gameplay which is why I tend to quicksave a lot now).

More quests. I know there's alot of side activities and little missions but those usually take a few minutes to complete. I'm talking about the bigger ones. I love Fallout 4 and all, but let's be honest here, there aren't enough real in-depth missions. And alot of the ones that are in the game can't be completed in a single playthrough because you're forced to choose sides. So yeah, I'd like to see a ton more quests added to the Dlcs.

I said in another thread, I say it again here. I want scars for at least arms. And torso aswell actually. I want to be able to see the toll the wasteland has taken on my char.

Just release the creation kit already.

We don't need prone or duel wield - the game is already being bashed as a 'shooter'. The gunplay is inspired by Destiny, do we need to imitate COD and Halo too?

I suspect there will be patches that will tweak the gameplay/perks/crafting mechanics. And I predict a storm of complaints afterwards. :ahhh:

Here's a friendly little protip - don't presume to speak for all of us by using "we want" over and over again.

I'd love the ability to start up trade caravans that you can escort personally - could have a bonus if you take the goods yourself, or a lesser amount with a chance to fail of you let a settler handle security for you.

NO we do not want prone or dual wield guns.

What we want is more elements for role playing and dual wielding is not a valid method for any professional shooter.

Example: interacting with the kitties would be nice.

Example: elaborating on the settlement building/management would be helpful.

Honestly, the Fallout 4 map is bigger than the Fallout 3 map. Mostly because Fallout 4's city areas are fully explore-able and open while Fallout 3's city area wasn't.

I was one of the folks who was upset when I heard they were getting rid of the repair system. I wanted to see it maybe tweaked a bit, but to return. Having played the game for almost 20 hours now, I have to agree with the decision to leave it out. Repairing weapons and armor, on top of the new crafting system, would just be too much.

Now, if we want to talk about tweaks to the new crafting system that I'd like to see, I'm already making a list. :D

been reading all over online how the game has no dual wielding which is lame, it does have slowmo like most games do but we need duel wielding shotguns and machine guns which wolfenstein has and all other good games.
