» Wed May 30, 2012 8:11 pm I realy like that fallout took the leap to become a FPS game. And I like the mechanics to some degree.
What do I want /hope in the next fallout game:
1. Cars - I want to build my own car/truck/tank/bike and drive around in at. I want it to get smashed up so I have to fix it with my repair skill and salvalge stuff from borken down machines in the waste. I want to take my freinds on a drive and I want to shote my enemies out of the windows!
2. Co-OP / MP - I want to play with my freinds in gamemodes where we arnt in the normal "offline" area but in burned down New York battling the brotherhood of steel or gangsers or somthing with 4 eyes. I want to drive with my freind riding shotgun and well shoting with his shotgun at that mutant that was just nearby and when our car is so shot up it can barly move anymore we take to foot and start pitting some mutant fools with our custom guns that we pimped out earliere in the game.
3. Guns!! - Alot of them, I mean a [censored]load! I want RPG-7's, AK47's, M60's, M203's, Howizers, MG42's, M14, M1 garant and the all know Thompson that have followed my sins they early fallout days. Weapons, weapons and more weapons. The more the better. There need to be a better way to pimp out your gun. Rails, Grips, Scopes, Paint, Silincers, Lights exc.
The guns should have diffrent stages of "rust" the more rusty they are the more prone they are to jams. Durability is stupid and I never liked it, I hate having to gather 10 SMG's to make 1 good one that breaks down 300 shots later. Btw where the HELL IS THE BOW's in fallout!!! Its the most simpel range weapon out there and its never been in the game what ze hell! as the germans say.
4. Aiming mechanis - I dont like the FPS system where when you roll a "100" you just see one of your shots going 2 meters to one side. The aim should be just like in a normal FPS game, if I aim at it I hit it. The damage should be desides by how good my balistic skill is with that weapon group. Ofc there should be some movement of the gun so its a not easy to hit (counter strike easy). The more skill you have with the weapon group the less your gun wobbels.
5. Build & Destroy - I want to build a house and a car. Fill up the car with explosives and drive it in to the house crashing throw the walls. Then iel get out, brush the dirt off my cowboy duster, go outside and at safe 20m range I detonate the 500 kg explosives with my remote detonater og just by shoting a flaming arrow in to the lot. The explotion now throws me back, bricks, metal and stones hit me and gobbeling blood I get up and after my vision have come back after my daze I look at the crater and whats left of my house.
Tree's, Walls, Houses, Cars I want to destroy it all! Why have a Fatman and nothing to destroy for real!
6. Factions - If I want to join the Brotherhood of Steel I do it, If I want to be a Slaver I do it, if I want to be a commoner and just live in a town then I join the village. I want factions and I want to be eigble to chose my path. I want to feel special, kicking in the door to the enclave clad in Brotherhood powerarmor weilding my gatling laser, smacking heads in with my power hammer all in the name of the Brotherhood. I want to drag kicking and screaming women off and throw them in the back of my truck. I want to Sell at highes bidder at the slave market. I want to be a dirty thug that just use the world and leave it early next morning.
I want to join the spiritual tribes men og the White Horse caln or there Babaric brothers. I want to sit up in my buggy make one of the fools drive it down the broken down new york strets while I hammer 50 cal rounds in to the rival Raider's gang truck trying to steal there stuff.
7. Customize my character - Race, human, mutant, super mutant and more. Will my race affect the factions in game? yes. Small, Tall, fat & thin. I love that like the old game there is a lot of Peeks in Fallout 3 & NW. I want more of that more more more! I want to sit down and realy nerd on how to make my character realy cool.
8. The Pit - Yep, I want to smash faces and be payed while screaming onlookers praze me for beeing so [censored] arwsome.
9. Mini games - Like the pit, wasteland rally in my homemade car, sniping Raiders, killing off holdouts of beasts, playing dart vs some drunk in a bar.
That was the first few things I hope to see in fallout x. I know there is allot of termoil around Interplay & bethesda. But who ever makes the game make it for us fans, we love the world you created and we want to explore it while touching our sleves to arwsome graphics!
But remember, keep the fallout spirit, dont make it in to somting its not. Fallout deserves it.
