I was passing through the tunnel near the Boomer's area, and was sneaking around the other side of the tunnel when I spotted a couple enemy tick marks on my compass. I reached the crown of a hill to peek over and spotted three death claws, two of them were young death claws and one was a normal one. I ran because I didn't have the weaponry to deal with them other than a 12 gauge w/ slugs. I managed to kill off one of the young death claws with a lucky critical shot and retreated to the tunnel for safety.

Thinking I've escaped death by entering the tunnel, cos I thought they couldn't follow me; I started searching around the little room where you enter the tunnel when I hear the "ke-clunk" my heart stopped. The 2 remaining deathclaws had followed me into the tunnel. @_@

I came out of this shack I was looting. We were walking to the BoS safehouse, I saw the (Boone has been knocked unconsious) message, looked around to blow the [censored] out of whatever touched Boone. It was 2 big ass DeathClaws at my face.

When I stepped into a broken down bus to loot it, on an overpass, in the Divide... I never made it out alive. There were no enemies for miles. Suddenly, out of no-where, this Deathclaw shows up and blocks my exit. Next time my game loaded, I made it out, ran backwards, while shooting at the DC and... lost my footing. I fell off the overpass to my death. Yup, wasn't pretty, I think I finally killed that svcker after 4 tries. LOL

DC's are my mortal enemies and I will not rest before I exterminate them ALL! (At least there are no Reavers in NV, well one, but I killed it) LOL

Oh yea, being swarmed by Tunnelers in that cave wasn't pretty either... -.-

(after five minutes of panicing)
"Whoops, I forgot I moved them to Locker number three."

There are actually several Reavers around the map. Specifically by the Nuclear Test Site and around the Devil's Throat.

Pretty much anytime I'm lurking around a spooky vault and one of my companions kills something. That killcam creeps me out! I would turn it off but it doesn't feel right without it.

I think majority of the Vaults are pretty creepy.. they have that eerie feel to them. Hate to live in one of those. Dead money made me feel like I was playing Thief and I instantly fell in love with the DLC and yes.. it was scary. The time I discovered nightcrawlers had invisibility lol or a squad legion assassins pop out of nowhere

I'm using Nevada Skies mod and it makes nights really dark, so I was approaching Primm in the middle of the night and suddenly Malcolm Holmes appears before me and starts his usual dialogue - he really scared me as I didn't see him approaching.

Oh yea, read about those places, but didn't come across them during my first play-through. Will have to check them out and kill the Reavers! LOL

I agree, Vaults are creepy and Vault-Tec is a horrible company for putting people through all their hair-brained tests. Vault 11 is especially a sad story...

I didn't, Fallout games aren't scary, Dead Money was close to horror but not really.

Wait not I take that back, I was scared when this happened http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlmxQHqnq0w

Sneaking in Dead Wind Cavern and having a Legendary Deathclaw come out of nowhere. Luckily I had my Anti-Material Rifle out so I was able to one shot kill him.

I'm using Nevada Skies mod and it makes nights really dark, so I was approaching Primm in the middle of the night and suddenly Malcolm Holmes appears before me and starts his usual dialogue - he really scared me as I didn't see him approaching.

He always gives me a light scare because he comes out of nowhere.

Oh several.

First time I started New Vegas I went down the Radscorpion Gulch right at the cemetary and I got chased out by a dozen radscorpions.

First time I went to the Crashed Vertibird around 7 robots came out of the crash crater right towards me.

First time I met tunnelers.

First time I did the Cazador Canyon run from Jacobstown to Red Rock Canyon.

So many first times...

I sometimes get the bejeebies when I'm walking calmly through a quiet area and ED-E decides to use his lasers to fry something. The sudden cut and ridiculously loud pshww sound...
In Dead Money at times, mostly jump scares.
Tunnelers.

The first time I played Dead Money, I didn't even pay attention to Elijah, and my collar started beeping for the first time. It started beeping faster, and I jumped up and down and ducked under a desk (where the radio was located) before my head got blown off.
