What was your favorite information from the Game Informer ar

Post » Thu Aug 19, 2010 9:40 pm

is this...........is this true. if this is true i have never been happier in my entire life to have my gloom and doom predictions proven wrong. is levitation back now?

IDK if this is for certain, so don't get your hopes up too high. But from the sounds of it, it is true. (Though I don't believe it was flat-out stated, just gathered through context clues people read. I wish I could find the original post explaining it better)

No word on it yet, though I don't see why we wouldn't be able to mod it and why they wouldn't give us the CS.

(Which is very kind of them :foodndrink:)

RADIANT Story, definitely. As long as they don't over promise and under deliver, it should be incredible. I won't know what to expect each time I play. Playing Oblivion now just feels like watching an old movie I've seen a million times. RADIANT Story has the potential to keep me on my toes through dozens of play throughs.

Oh, in the February 2011 issue of Gameinformer, of course.

Favorite info: the little "story" of the weapon drop showing off the depth of the game.

Unique landscapes.

I want different things from green trees, brown trees and snow covered brown, green and yellow trees. I seriously don't recall different tree types in Oblivion, but maybe jack pine trees, spruce and balsam fir that are part of boreal forests found in northern climates.

I don't need anything as weird as mushrooms or anything, but diversity is a very powerful thing. Maybe a frozen lake in the extreme north of the province? Things like that add immensely for me.

I'm from Canada so I want to see many things that us northerners can relate to.

I like how archery is going to be now with the slower draw and more damage. It'll be perfect for my stealth playing style.

This. Now all I need to know is if there is limb specific damage and it'll be marksman heaven.

Dragon Shouts, also known as Thu'um. Kind of in two parts: one, that I get to use Thu'um as a skill and roleplay as a Thu'um user; two, that the game is going to delve into the lore surrounding Thu'um as a main element of the story.

Just seen the Gameinformer scans. OMG.

1) NPCs: look awesome
2) General look of the artwork: awesome
3) No HUD: awesome
4) 5 major cities: YES

Can't wait for more info, I'm impressed with what I've seen/learned so far

The leveling system, for three main points:
1. Classless system; no primary/secondary skills; increasing higher level skills advances overall level faster than lower level ones.
2. Designed around a level progression range of 1-50.
3. Leveling continues past 50 at a significantly slower rate.
