Lonesome Road. It felt like I was revisiting the glow. The annihilated environment and the dissonance in Ulysses's voice, memorable stuff.

Very well described, this about about sums it up for me as well. Fallout 3 has given many striking memories that no other game had managed to achieve, with the possible exception of Mass Effect 2.

I'd also like to include the entire quest Following in his Footsteps. It's the first time I ventured into the metro tunnels, and at such an early stage of the game seemed like a journey of epic proportions.

Seconded. The combination of the location design, the dark corridors lost in the darkness, and the powerful music. Immersion level RUnNETH OVeR.

I misunderstood the topic when it first appeared; I thought it meant a particular event ~say like the beating that the Lieutenant gives the Vault Dweller or when watching the overseer's death... but if it's just one's favorite location, I would also have to say the Glow. Is there anything like it in any or all of the other FO games?

I can't decide between my favorite two moments.

New Vegas: Killing Mr. House with the 9 iron.

Fallout 3: That great feeling of success that comes when killing your first behemoth.

Sierra Army Depot in Fallout 2, National Guard Depot in Fallout 3, Vault 34 in Fallout: New Vegas.

In my opinion, only the SAD compares.

Hearing whispers about the Burned Man and Caesar forbidding me from speaking about him, then seeing Joshua Graham and then quote a bible verse in his sixy deep voice in Zion.

The first encounter with Frank Horrigan. Usually at a low mid level character still struggling to survive and you happen upon the beast that is Frank Horrigan. Epic!!
