Playstation 1. I had little interest in video games before that.
Hmm. I may have had a cheap/old/used Atari 2600 at one time. And I played games on my friend's SNES. But the first console I really had (bought new, got a lot of games for it) was a PS1.
Atari 2600
We did get a Magnovox Odyssey (the first one successfully marketed to consumers) but that was after the 2600. We got it at a garage sale for cheap.
Super Nintendo.. I still remember playing a sample of it the day it came out when I was a kid in the 90s, and then playing it every day with some other games after getting one.
Forgot about the Colecovision. We had one of those too.
when I was a kid we had an old TRS-80 and a VIC-20 in the house, and they were our first "consoles" until we eventually upgraded to a NES
I had an atari when i was a kid but it broke when i was really young so i dont remember it much. the first console i have memories of is the NES, and then shortly after remember getting a SNES.
I had a Commodore Vic 20, then a Commodore 64 around 1984. I didn't have an actual game console until the Sega Master System came out some time in '86.
Atari 2600, at the time when NES was the big player in home video game systems. My sister has it now, and I believe that it still works....
