In what way would you Describe The elder scrolls: Skyrim?

I would actually describe the whole Elder scrolls series the World's best Fantasy-swordlike RPG style if I am correct.

Edit: And I mean the whole elder scrolls series. How about that?

A 3rd person open world action-adventure game with RPG elements.

...I kid.

I'd describe the whole TES series as being open world action-RPGs in a fantasy setting.

At first i was worried about skyrim but after watching tye 20min walkthrough with my friend
I think its going to be amazing b/c he doesnt get on tyese forums and he just kept being amazed by everything and when i tried to point out flaws he looked at me werd asking "how is that a flaw?"
Made me realize skyrim is great but these forums are a downer

Worlds best? I dont know. I def like how they dont toe the normal fantasy line. Yet for that reason I find some of their quirks to be awkward. Also each game they reinterpret fantasy in a new way. morrowind was purposefully alien, whilst ob was traditional fantasy, clser to daggerfall in that respect. Part of the problem with beths world is that its a little undefined, less so in morrowind. Im hoping they really amped up the story of its people so that we felt like there were realer characters running around. But then u get into balancing that with the openness of the world.

I'm sure it'll be a pretty good game, it just won't be my favourite.
