Well, if you haven't guessed mine already, Light Operative and Engineer. God being able to sniper some people, disguise as them, run around and backstab their friends, disguise as them and get a few snipes in has me giggling with glee. I'm going to cause several ragequits, since as soon as i stop backstabbing, they get sniped as they search in a daze for me [insert evil laugh here]!

Medium Medic or Operative with Shotgun and a medium range secondary, able to cause chaos behind enemy lines with disguises and shotguns, and can cause endless ragequitting by buffing my health and defending/camping an objective as a Medic. Also might try out Heavy with auto shotguns, not sure though, I don't like being super slow.

Also, slightly off topic, does anyone have concrete stats for each body type, ie, how much more health medium has in comparison to light and movement speed percentage differences, or are we still purely speculating based off of videos?

There are no gameplay-videos showing Lights or Heavies, I believe.

So we're just guessing.

I was thinking about having a short or light rifle for kind of sniper support while being an engineer and setting up mines and a turret. Of course buffing my teammates and giving fire support from above cause i don't know how i will be able to keep up with the fast pace without getting frustrated. Sounds like i should just end up being a heavy, which by the way will heavies have a hard time keeping up with the rest of the team?

I'm going with a light Sniper, Sniper Rifle, and some sort of glock type hand gun. This way I'll be fairly comfortable as soon as I start xD

Seems the population is going to be this;
Operative with sniper 98%
Others 2%.
I really hope this game comes out sooner then Spring 2011, I need a reason to throw away my copy of BC2 :o

there are no one shot kill weapons. There are accurate single shot rifles, I imagine a semi-auto and a bolt action, and you can put a scope on them if you like, but they arent just "snipers", they can just be used that way if you choose.

I think this is just people wanting to try both being a light player an an operitive because they allow you to really test different parts of the game. Those who want to do that without having to use a spray weapon are left to choose a short rifle, where distance and a scope are your best friends for taking down sprayers.

I want to play a light operative first, but it probably wont be my main class after I play the game a bit more.

Normal matches: No fixed class
Clan matches: Medic
Body type: Med
Weapons: AR and Pistol

Although I know I will end up trying every combo I can think of.

That would most def be a Heavy Soldier with Minigun and either Grenade or Shotgun. Fatties ftw. Then make a tiny guy with SMG and Machine, probably medic, and try out SMART. This game. Is. Going. To. Be. Amazing.

I guess if there are many lights, people will tend to switch to heavies. With so much health and a minigun you should be able to erase alot of lights.

Heavy Soldier - HMG or Assault Rile
Medium Medic - Assault/SMG
Light Operative - SMG/Light Rifle
Medium Engineer - SMG/Shotgun

I like different playing styles so they will probably switch up at one point or another.

With a heavy character, you could have both the HMG and the assault rifle, but if you put "or" because you don't want overlapping strengths, you could have HMG/Shotty or Auto-Shotty/Assault rifle.

Also, a light character cannot carry both an SMG and a Light rifle, as they are both light weapons, you would need to pair one of them with a sidearm (Semi-auto pistol, revolver, machine pistol)

The other two work just fine.

Pity the heavies will always be late to the party.

Oh no I meant the / to be an or. I also completely forgot that your secondary can be something else besides a pistol if your not a light. Thanks for the reminder.

The cake is a lie my friend and pity your cake in reality is a cleverly disguised sticky grenade. The light operative is off eating your cake when you explode. Never eat ticking cake.

I was wondering something about heavies now that it is brought up. Will heavies really be the last ones to the party because they are the slowest yet wouldn't a team want the heavies to be in front of most of the action to take most of the damage. If they are slow they would only be good on the defensive team wouldn't they?
