im gonna go basic here and say medium soldier with a regular assault rifle and shotgun

You can only use one of those as a medium for the record.

Yeah, you could have either a shotgun or an assault rifle as your main, but your only options for a secondary are a short-rifle or an SMG. The obvious pairings would be Assault-Rifle/SMG and Shotgun/Short-Rifle, but there's no reason you couldn't mix it up if you like.
