What weapon type will you use?

I'm pretty much in a bow and sword rut. I may just mix it up this time and go for something completely different - an axe and a bow.

When I'm not playing as a pure mage, I'll always prefer following type(s) of weapons in combat:
1.) (Cross)bows.
2.) Longsword or Katana.

The Sword will be my weapon of choice, either the Umbra Blade (If its in the Game) or an Enchanted Akaviri Katana.

Or both.

Actually, I might go all Richter on my foes with a sword and axe in accord. Try something new.

That would be...Epic...

What about Gandalf-style sword and a staff?

Now that is actually confirmed; there's a picture of a character doing that in the magazine.

I'll probably go with just a staff, or forego weapons altogether, and go with double spells.

I'll probably make use of every style of weapon, I can never settle on just one.

I'm also going to make Paladin as a secondary character.
It will use mace in right hand and restoration magic in left hand.

Dual wield shields.

But really, I'll probably use a sword in one hand and a spell in another.

If they've really beefed up the bows that's what I'll be using with a sort of ranger character. In Oblivion it got a little tiring firing hundreds of arrows at foes and not getting anyway.

However, if they're still not practical, then a plain steel viking type sword and round shield.

A long sword and shield for awhile until I am able to raise my magic for awhile. After the magic is up I will still have the long sword but I will use some sort of restoration magic in one hand (most likley healing).

My dream scenario is wielding a spear and a shield.. i can see my self comming at a guy with my shield raised and then running him through with my spear, directly after i lift it and throw it at a second goon.. then i draw my trusty sword to finish of the 3rd guy with a powerfull swing over his neck/shoulder :D ...

Nope, one of my characters is mostly going to specialize in axes. Both in duel weilding single handed ones, and brandishing a huge one.

I will use combat staffs if they are in. If they aren't, I will cry...then after I cry, I'll use claymores. If possible, I will also be a werewolf.
