M1 Carbine.
Early versions of The Mosin, PPSH 41/43, and The AK-47
M14 Rifle, A M16 (Orginial), and A SKS.
These weapons were made during the 40's to Early 60's.
Basically some of the major weapon packs from fallout new vegas. Everything Millenia created or retextured for New Vegas.
After they ripped if off the Germans of course...I would like the Cerebral Bore from Turok 2 and the Laptop gun from Perfect Dark.
Some of Millenia's stuff is strange for a post apoc America. Sorry, that's just the truth as I see it. The number of obscure European weapons would be unbelievably rare compared to common American weapons (which are legion in America with our liberal gun laws). Having said that, I do like his M-14, M4, 1911, and AK74.
I would personally would like to see (timeline compliant):
M14
M1 Garand
M1911A1
BAR
.357 mag revolver
.44 mag revolver
.45-70 revolver and lever action rifle
Thompson
Antimateriel rifle
AK47
M16
Post timeline split (but still doable since both universes could produce similar products):
Rem 700 (.308, 30-06, 300 win mag)
M14 with EBR and M24/M40 type variants
M4 Carbine
AK 74
Mossberg 590
Barrett 98B or M107 (.338 LM or .50 BMG)
Glocks
Barettas
MP5
M110
M2010 (300 win mag)
Saiga 12
AA 12
M240
M249
I'm hoping that we'll just have a lot more variants for guns that do about the same amount of damage. There are lots of guns I like the look of but when you find a gun that does more damage than any other gun you tend to end up using it through the entire game simply because it's the best gun in that category.. Hopefully the added ability to mod the guns will make this a moot point and I won't feel like I'm running around with the same weapon as everyone else by end game.
As for guns themselves I'd like to see more types of sniper rifle. . More types of rifles all together. They tend to lump all rifles, automatic/hunting/sniper into the one rifle category instead of adding separate variety for each type of rifle.
Oh I agree that some of it is strange for the setting. And I agree that some of them should be rare, extremely rare. But it'd be neat to run into a bandit with a weapon that makes me wonder, where the hell did he get that?! It'd be like running into a bandit wearing football gear. It'd be neat to see once or twice, but it'd be annoying if it was common. (Fallout shelter has a set of football gear armor)
You know football gear from 2077 would be pretty damn tough.

I've said 100 times before and i'll say it again, M72 GAUSS RIFLE.
As for the double barrel we have had the Winchester Widowmaker and sawn-off shotgun which would be most welcome, especially Kneecapper.
Beyond those I would like more WW2-esque weaponry, so far we've had the bastard child of a shotgun and a PPSh, BAR, M1911, Tommy gun, grease gun, M1 garand, and a couple others I think. Some mosin's, arisaka's, MP40's, stuff like that would be nice.
i want some german ww2 weapons, like the mg 42, MP40, STG 44, gwere 43, kar 98, ect.
A sledgehammer with some satisfying sounds and ragdoll effects! And large selection of melee weapons in general.
Considering there's most likely a shortage of major arms plants and design engineers to make them, I doubt the Fallout world of 2077 has a lot of originally designed firearms. Having known guns from the 40's and 50's such as the 1911 or established pre-war lore weapons like the 10mm make the most sense.
I (unironically) agree with this.
With location damage and actors who react to getting hit, F4's melee combat is going to be much more engaging and satisfying than Skyrim's. Can't wait to fight in the arena.
Which is why they have laser and plasma weapons.
I doubt that basic firearm design would be that different though. The 1911 is over a hundred years old and still one of the most popular guns sold today. And I can assure you, barring the end of the world, it will be in 2077.

...the perfect shotgun to use when wearing power armor. A breech loading punt gun would be an awesome weapon.
I think we're gonna get a double barreled shotgun.

Pause the video at 30:12. The main character is wielding a double barreled shotgun.
Personally, I hope they bring back the mesmatron. Easily my favourite from F3. Missed it in NV.
The Rockit launcher was a fun ride as well.
