If I'm gonna be hunting androids, I'm sure as heck gonna want "that gun" from Blade Runner.

I would like to have a form of Shoulder mounted gun for power armor what can i say the predator shoulder mounted gun was cool, or a arm mounted gun like we see in G.I.JOE movie with their Accelerator suit that arm Gatling gun.
Some prototype armor variant that can be found in some top secret installation, since this will be the most technological advanced area we have yet to explore in the fallout cannon so far.
As far as the we have enough lasers and energy weapons, i would say it makes sense to have them since we have the PA and robots that hover around the area's and big armored robots driving around, the theme is old 50's style attire but the technology is beyond ours so to me it seems fair that we should have even more lasers and energy weapons, i would like some form of lightning gun not just a form of laser gun like thing.
projectile weapons are outdated and old and i would imagine ammo could be hard to find in this kind of place and time, but power cells and fusion batteries would be easier since vehicles and robots use energy.
Not sure about the FOverse, but in IRL, most gun manufacturers these days who makes a .223-chambered rifle idiot-proofs it and makes it able to handle 5.56mm (which has a higher chamber pressure than the .223 it was based on). FONV's Gunrunner's Arsenal reflects this by renaming it the "5.56mm pistol".
Technically, while it looks like Blade Runner gun, it is different. The blade runner gun is more of a gyroc pistol. Seems like it fires almost explosive rounds. The .223 pistol from Fo2 was a rifle modified into a pistol. So, while it looks very similar, it still a different type of gun, and I'm sure they modeled it after BR, but created their own weapon. Speaking of which, gyroc guns would be interesting. But I really want a Yuma Flats Pulse Rifle.
I'd also like to see another quality bb gun and a Needler gun with variation on ammo, like poison to kill, poison to knock people out.
If we could get a C96 Mauser(the "Chinese Pistol" from FO3) that wasn't absolute crap, that would be amazing. And the options to mod it with an extended mag, long barrel, stock, and full auto would be nice too. Seriously, I just love the look of this gun.
There would have been some example pictures here, but the forum kept yelling at me. When did the bethforums get so anol about posting images?
Since power armor is sort like tank now, maybe should get some tank gun or something so powerful and heavy which cannot wield by normal human?
My favorite weapons have always been rifle grip guns and heavy revolvers. In New Vegas my two "go-to" weapons were the Hunting Rifle with a scope and increased rate of fire and the Hunting Revolver. So as long as these return in some form I will be happy. And I am 99% sure they are returning in some form.
I want my LAER. I always liked how it balanced goofy retro and sci-fi sleek in how it looked. Just hope it isn't as fragile this time.

I'm really hoping they'll add something like the dart gun back into the game. That was surprisingly handy in slowing down enemies in a firefight.
Wonder if pulse weapons will make a return. With the robot-themed plot and the revamped power armor, could be a little more useful than New Vegas.
M1 Garand and Tommy gun (not the laser RCW) and/or BAR.
OLD WORLD WEAPONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
50 base weapons and 700 mods for these weapons , if it is not in the game you probably going to be able to make it yourself
but oe of my favorite always been the gaussrifle or the huge 12.7 mm pistol
I want the return of the Plasma Caster, I love that weapon, and It would look sickly cool in tandem with Enclave/X-01 Power Armor.
1. Revolvers. The lack of them in the gameplay vids seriously worries me, I understand Revolvers are harder to 'mod' than the other crap, but sometimes a classy handcannon will do in situations.
2. Mega Power Fist or something close. Really intimidating 'kinetic energy displacement' weapon, and I liked Fallout 3/New Vegas power fist, but it really never made sense to me on how you got the piston to push out and slam into people. What is it? Pressure gauge or button within the glove that when squeezed, sends the piston flying out? I prefer the old style.
3. Just pure Unarmed, dual-wielding fun. Makes sense, and you can do quite a lot with Boxing Gloves, Brass Knuckles and whatnot, in modification-terms at least.
4. More explosives. Hell, just bring the NV weapon list of Explosives and I'll love that alone.
Robocop's gun.
Pump-Action Shotguns. Improvised explosives. Throwable and fully retrievable melee weapons. Silenced .45 Semi-Auto Pistol. Silenced Machine Pistol or SMG. More customisable Sniper Rifles. Better traps and tripbombs and the like. Swords to a degree. Spears, or to be more specific, being able to thrust with pointy weapons (the eternal shame of 99% of Resident Evil characters "slashing" with a Knife when a good stabbing would get the job done in half the time).
Oh, and a Harpoon Gun. A sadly underused concept that could be great if it can actually pin dead/dying enemies to walls.
Better shrapnel damage too. Not just AoE explosions with set damage.
Fallout 3 had around 33 base weapons, excluding bladed and blunt melee weapons, mines and grenades.
It's becoming clear that Fallout Shelter is a useful precursor of Fallout 4 (an example is the radiation reducing health).
So if a weapon is in Fallout Shelter, then I'm confident that it will feature in Fallout 4.
We have already had a Fallout Shelter update of Preston Garvey and the Laser Musket,
Fallout Shelter may well get further upgrades of 'new' weapons post-launch of Fallout 4.
Until then, we have the list of Fallout Shelter weapons, which I think guarantees these 24 base weapons as included in Fallout 4.
We have 3 further weapons (marked *) from the E3 demo.
How to count bladed and blunt melee weapons is problematic as if you include pool cues and other sticks, then that's a further 24 weapons.

It's like gathering enough 5.56mm AP Rounds to shred with the LMG. Sure, it takes ages, but it's so worthwhile!
Imagine perforating Raiders with that thing.
Now THAT would have me excited for Fallout 4!
I hope the gauss rifle returns, or able to mod a gun to become it.
