What weapons would you like to see in Fallout 4?

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 6:02 am

Since everything else it kind of set with the 50's as far as tech goes (well other than laser and plasma) I'd like the guns to stay that way. If I want to play using the most modern machine gun I'll play Modern Warfare. Honestly they look out of place in FO.

A German Luger would be nice though.

http://fallout.gamepedia.com/Plasma_rifle_(Fallout). Hell toss in the ability to make it turbo and make things all the better. Real man's energy weapon right there. Feel the rush of some warm plasma in your hand. :disguise:

Yes. I love the police revolver. The only reason I did not make a great use of it, is the fact that it not be affected by Cowboy perk.

That said, I want to see few weapons from NV. I have over 1000 hours in this game, I love them all, but I got sick of them.

I hope the theme of this Fallout is the weapons jury rigged.

I'd like to see a crossbow(maybe as something we can craft?) and the return of throwing weapons from New Vegas.

Whatever they have won't be enough, so I just hope the modding community will be able to turn it into the gunporm extravaganza like the previous games needed to be.

Gunning down mutants with an FN FAL or a http://romanceuniversity.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/British-Production-STEN-MkII.jpg never gets old.

The Pancor Jackhammer was awesome. :) "street sweeper" in its purest form.

Something like the laser RCW would be nice, Celts good to have a energy weapon with some nice rapid fire unf without having to be a big, bulky gatling laser.

Hopefully BGS adopts a far less biased approach to weapons this time. They need far more energy weapons in FO and far better magic/archery in TES. The enormous bias to projectile guns (FO) and melee (TES) makes it much more difficult to play an energy weapons (FO) or magic/ramged (TES) PC than it should be for an RPG.

For FO4, far more energy weapons and ammo for them, on par with projectile weapons.

Note that this doesn't necessarily mean lots of random enemies with energy weapons. It simply means that an energy- / science- / tech-focused character can find what they would be interested in by roleplaying just as a projectile / melee character can. It just means that such a PC would go to the appropriate places and/or do quests that offer proper rewards for such a character, rewards on par with other characters and their locations / interests / quests.

Im more interested in the ammo bench from nv it makes doing a sniper build a lot more viable since in F3 sniper ammo with out the scrounger perk is incredibly rare and venders dont sell enough of the ammo.

In no particular order:

Chinese Assault Rifle

Pancor Jackhammer

Perforator (unique weapon fom F3 DLC "The Pitt")

AMR

12.7 Submachine gun

Marksman Carbine

9mm Pistol (Browning HP)

Colt .45 Auto

Gauss Rifle

Laser RCW

I could go on... basically I'd like F4 to be more like F:NV than F3, with a much greater variety of weapons, as well as weapon mods and the ability to reload ammunition. Playing F:NV it seemed like the guy in charge of the weapons for that game actually knew something about guns, so we didn't just get the (solid but rather dull) limited selection of mostly generic guns seen in F3.

Something I'd like too see that has not been in a previous game (as far as I know)? Somethng like the Arwen 37, the H+K "CAWS", and maybe the Vector 45.

The R91 assault rifle, but to me more picky it looks more like a CETME rifle.

I would very much like to see the return of the Wattz 2000 laser rifle. It would be more of a sniper oriented laser weapon, rather than a mid-range one like the AER-9. They brought back the Winchester P94 Plasma Rifle (Plasma Caster) in New Vegas; hopefully, they'll bring back the Wattz 2000 next.

Mini guns need to be back on par in regards to being powerful like they were in Fallout 1 and 2. Fallout 3 they were weak and not even worth my time keeping. If you're getting shot by a mini gun its going to tear you to shreds and you're not going to get up from it.

I want a decent sidearm like the colt .45 and a good single shot rifle that isn't held together with duct tape and wire.

I think I would like to see weapons associated by location and also an increase in sort of modernised weapons. For example if your in like high risk place like a military base or bunker I would like to see an AK or M16 not highly modern like a Scar H but modern enough and if your in a low risk place like a small raiding camp I would like to see a .45 pistol or something

I would like to see a slight increased amount of modern weapons like an AK or an M16 near a military bunker and mods for them to lie a silencer but nothing too high grade just and difficult to find weapons like that as we'll

It would be exciting to have crossbows or standard bows with exploding arrows! Also, a grenade launcher (like in the first Quake) that you could ricochet off of walls and ceilings before it exploded....great for taking care of enemies hiding around corners etc.

Being able to craft booby traps would be beautiful...for instance, a land mine that projects an enemy into the sky then blows the body to bits causing a rain of bone and guts! Now THAT would be hilarious!

A rusty AK is all the friend you need in the wasteland. That and a trusty canine. Even if there are no AKs in Fallout 4 base im sure modding will get on that pretty quick.
