I haven't heard a single weapon I didn't like the sound of, yet. Can't be bothered loading that video since my internet svcks and it'll take half an hour to load, but as far as I can remember the minigun sounded like bullet rain.

But even though they did showcase them recording the guns. I don't know if the recorded a Minigun or Semi-auto grenade launcher. Maybe most of the heavy weapons I could see them not recording. But who knows.

That's an airplane (A-10) gun, kinda over the top to compare that to a portable minigun

The minigun sounded cheap indeed , other then that i can't really comment on the sound since the sound was crappy on that youtube vid BUT i did get annoyed by that fade out sound everytime there was close gunplay.
The i go deaf effect for those who did not get what i mean, it gets quite annoying so many times in a row.

I believe the guns sounds are toned down so you can hear the voice commands during gameplay.

And if they used the real sound of a minigun firing. You would hear it being fired at you and you would s*** your pants. Heck, the guy firing it would s*** his pants too. This would happen every time one went off. The closest thing i can describe it as is a couple million killer bees being pumped into the room your standing in. Also the walls are lined with high quality mics that are wired directly to a pair of Astro's on your head. At full volume. and even then you still wouldnt understand.

Yea, a minigun firing sounds like a dragon burping.
