i have definately changed my mind.

I don't know if anyone else plays dark elves feel this way but... Dark elves imo haven't been changed/updated much.. all the others look amazing though..
That being said i'm debating on playing a high elf , wood elf, or Breton... and possibly... maybe an orc..

Dunmers look great and have been updated a lot. In Oblivion they looked plain and like a cartoon. Now they look rugged, grimy and mean, like they are suppose to.

Dunmer's still look cool. You have to figure this into your character- YOU decide skin tone, hair, scars, face paint, body width and such.

I'm Dunmer or Kat. My days of being a Nord and relying mostly on warrior traits are over. Plus I don't pick my race based on looks.

me either really.. but if you look at the wood elves.. they now look like dark elves do.. just lighter toned.
i know i decide all that.. i just like what they did with the other characters and options they've added

Yes they have updated.. i guess maybe this time around i'm looking at the other options instead of jumping straight into the bosmer

I have to disagree with the wood elf/dark elf comment. I think they share characteristics because of their elven traits yes, like Bretons and Nords have that human look also with similar features.

What do you mean the Dunmer haven't been upgraded?! They threw the stupid ghost out the window, and now we have Ancestor's Wrath, the ability to wreathe ourselves in flame! AND we still have fire resistance! (svck it dragons)

I normally hate elves as a whole, but they all look awesome this time round

wow thats amazing. ok i guess i didn't know that... only thing i don't care for with them i guess is (yes i know they are both in the elf family) but now wood elves look more similar to dark elves.. i mean if you go back and play oblivion or even morrowind.. wood elves were obviously shorter and a little less pointy face. squinty eyes but didn't look evil.. they used to look like they'd be compulsive liars lol.. but now they as well kind of look evil like the dunmer... (from what i've seen)

I agree with a lot of people here, I think Dunmer look a lot better on this game. They seem to have a bit more character (although that one does look particularly angry, not sure if that's a racial thing or if something bad just happened).

Oh, and I would say the best looking race would probably be Nords. They look pretty solid in this game and seem more easily distinguishable from other races than in OB. But all the races do seem to look more rugged, and for me more realisic. Improvements everywhere I say.

That's another reason why I will be Dunmer. That seems like a huge advantage to have fighting dragons. But not every dragon will spit fire of course.

What are you talking about? The Dunmer look a lot better compared to Oblivion, I'm actually tempted to play as one, even though they're one of my most hated races.
