What will M'aiq the Liar say in Skyrim?

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 2:26 am

There won't be a Mike the Liar. There will be hidden sweet rolls with silly fortunes inside.

I sure as hell hope not. I've never thought M'aiq the Liar was interesting from the start. He was more annoying if anything, kinda like Jar Jar Binks from Star Wars Episode I. I hated that roger rabbit looking thing. lol

My apologies. I didn't mean to be insulting. Someone needs explain specifically how it is an insult to Morrowind fans. Mark spoilers if you must. I meant that this thread is showing a lot of M'aiq appreciation and my imagination took its own direction, that he could be more than some feline fortune cookie.

he fell into a pit and froze and happend to defrost just before our story begins. walks into us and tells us if we give him his clothes and we run around skyrim naked we will get fishysticks. and that's how we ended up in jail this time. might be how we got in jail in oblivion also. :unsure2:

M'aiq knows much. You finally saw a dragon, M'aiq does not lie after all. But, perhaps M'aiq does anyway.

M'aiq knows more ways than you do to shout in the dragon language. Perhaps if you give M'aiq a fishy stick M'aiq may teach you some. Perhaps not.

I figure M'aiq the Liar isn't a single character but a title, like the Dali Llama. A Khajiit shaman.

M'aiq does not understand why walking is better than riding dragons. M'aiq has always wanted to ride his mother-in-law.

I reckon:

"hardcoe? No thankyou i think Skyrim is a tough enough place as it is."

"Make Skyrim like Morrowind? I don't think so one province full of Dunmer is enough for me."

"Perks? No I don't have any perks other than my perky smile"

if khajiit can live for over 200 years, then maiq will be a skyrim easter egg imo

M'aiq is like the TES Tom Bombadil. There is no predicting or explaining him, he will always be a mystery no matter how much we know.

This Bombadil theory actually makes a lot of sense.

M'aiq will probably have quite a bit to say in Skyrim. After all, everyone knows that M'aiq is the real Dragonborn, not your character. Why else would he treat you with such contempt, like he did in the last game?
