Sadly unless you're doing a digital only game launch ya really can't pull off a stunt like that. One can dream tho.

Maybe they announced a early date, but they definitely didn't do a "surprise the game drops today" announcement.

I would love to see that, it would be so refreshing and welcome to see and hear her outside of the brief barely a minute we got when the game was shown at E3. Giving a showcase of her won't hurt the sales, if anything it might even increase them more than they already are in case there are those who didn't see the E3 footage who are concerned that the game is yet another sausage fest like so many games are.

If Bethesda is reading these posts, then please, please let's see the female player character in action and hear her.

I'd give almost anything for an announcement of a remastered FO3 and Skyrim for PS4/XBOX. No way this will ever happen, but I can dream, right!!??!

I for one am kind of surprised they didn't do this. I could see them making another killing off these games if they released remastered versions for next gen systems, like Arkane did with Dishonored. I guess they were too busy with F4 though.

I'm really hoping for some Quakecon footage or at least some in game footage detailing the open world, I don't think we really need to see any more combat game-play.

I will be happy to see anything they have. I'm certain it will be great!

However, depending on how they handle the SPECIAL points allocation, I really hope they release the perk chart (full) prior to release. Otherwise, it's a race to see the perks in order to create a new start with the character you want. This could either be a quick process (FONV), or very long and tedious (FO3).
