Yep. It'll depend on what you can do with enchanting / how it works.

(That said, my "typical" enchanted sword in Oblivion was the Rainbow Blade - it had a spread of all the elemental damage types.)

I enchant my main longsword with Absorb Health and Soul Trap and name it "Soul Authority"

I enchant other weapons usually with Shock Damage and Soul Trap (I don't like the flaring of the Fire Damage because it blinds me) and name them Sword of Misery, Axe of Misery, Bow of Misery, etc., if nothing else comes to mind.
