What will you collect

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 9:10 am

Everything, I always tend to roleplay a collector/adventurer who will plunge to the darkest depths of dungeons to have rare/unique items. I always collected all the ayelied statues in Oblivion. In morrowind I had the souls of every ash vampire and vivecs soul displayed on a shelf etc. Any rare weapons/armors. I collect anything.

Books.

Books and any artifacts that look unique.

Like someone else said Soul Gems, if they're labeled again

Anything unique and interesting, from weapons to armor to little knick knacks. I better get a damn mannequin in Vanilla Skyrim or I'll be sad.

Soul gems used to have the name of the soul in them when you looked at them. I have all mine organized on a shelf alternating between the front and back of the shelf from left to right with ash statues in betweem them and Vivecs soul inside Azura's star in the middle it was worth like 6400000000 gold. I had hunted down all of Dagoth Ur's ash vampire brothers.

When you soul trapped something, and caught it's soul in a gem, instead of just saying what grade it was based off of how tough your enemy was, it'd have the things name.

Yeah me too, I wish they'd bring back moveable light sources. I used to collect tons of the candles that put out blue light and place them everywhere.

So did I! I collected the blue lights, and made my house blue. I seriously hope they bring back blue and red lights in Skyrim.

I collected gold in Morrowind and Oblivion. I displayed it in my inventory :P

In all seriousness, I collected soul gems and tried to get one of each type of weapon to fill my display cases.

That's something I missed in OB, I liked being able to put piles of gold around my house in Morrowind.

Yes, it was one of my prize collections. This was in the southern tower/home building(by the southwall corner club) that belonged to an orc before I removed her and made it my own.

Ooh ooh i got another one! If you can drag dead people trough doors im gonna populate my house with 'em. One sleeping one sitting in a chair and so on! =D

Perhaps you should coat the bodies in plaster... similar to http://www.firstpersonobserver.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/cohen.jpg the work of a mister Sander Cohen. I'm sure you will scare a great many people.

Personally, I would collect CHEEESE FOR EVERYONE!

Unique weapons. I'll line my house(and possibly display cases) with them, mostly only those that look unique though.

I didn't find any unique looking weapons in oblivion, atleast I don't remember it. Will there be any in skyrim?

Molag Bal mind you. As for actually unique as far as looks go there aren't too many more. But as for ones with a unique name and enchantment you only see once there are a ton. If I had to choose between a unique weapon and a regular one with the same model I'm taking the unique one, even if it doesn't have an enchantment on it either. And if you go into other things that are unique you have the Scales of Pitiless Justice, The Grey Fox's Cowl, DB armor (not exactly unique but it looks cool), etc.

I quite know its not plaster... except for the parts you can see, until you dig a little deeper with your dagger...
