What will you collect

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 9:54 am

So in Oblivion I always had something that every character collected almost obsessivly, not items that are worth anything just stuff I fill my house with. Like one of my first characters collected spoons, dunno why. Another one collected skulls (My necromancer type character) which I with great care place around my waterfront house along with my necromancer robes. My regular mage has close to if not every book in the game placed in the shelfs in my mansion in chorrol? Can't remember which city.

Anyways I thought if would be fun to see what you guys are planning on collecting on which type of character :) I think im gonna go mage that collect's books again, it was very amusing.

Soul gems, that's why I need Bethesda to label them again, so I can see whose soul is it.

I hope soul trapping once again shows the name of the creature inside the gem in Skyrim like it did in MW. I used to collect souls of unique and named animals/creatures in MW.

Edit: Lol cloudrest beat me to it, I was typing this while he posted.

Hmm...I'll probably keep all the armor and swords I go through. Always held onto the first gear I start with to enchant later. As for weird things...I might bother with books if I can get em to fit in the shevles properly. Soul gems, I like to collect those.

Can't really think of anything else. Hopefully we'll get a key ring to shrink our keys in our menu. Collected an insain amount of those things without even trying.

Skulls are a good one I remember using a lot in Morrowind, and then in Oblivion. God I had so many skulls. And in morrowind there was a certain lantern that glowed bright blue, so I set those up in my home to creating a glowing effect around the skulls.

And of course, an apocalypse worth stockpile of skooma and moon dust.

It's awesome! Well, atleast when you get bored with the game and start roleplaying. My mages always have alchemy stuff put up on a table, with a alchemy book and some mushrooms and stuff there. For me it's part of the oblivion charm

Aah i've had an orc warrior who was a skooma addict, I really hate making the potion's stand up. When you are trying to make one stand you always make three others fall :(

I like the soul gem idea. Collecting them like Dexter :turned: and being able to store and see them all displayed in a showcase in your home. This one is Count of Skingrad, this one is the adoring fan, ah, the good memories...

In morrowind i collected all the epic and legendary unique items in the game and stored them in my Redoran fort I built. There were so many!

In OB I collected... no much because everything was random and I had no fort :(

Yeah in MW I collected all of the non humanoid Dagoth family member's souls and all of the unique guars and other animals with unique names.

If I can taunt guards and such I will collect the helmets of the hardest guards, much like I collected Ordinator helmets in MW(Think I had 300-400 of them before I started a new character).

I used to collect lightsources in Morrowind, then place them all around my telvanni tower. In the end, the place had a pretty creepy lightning, particularly because i heavily favored all kinds of sixth house lights.

Yeah me too, I wish they'd bring back moveable light sources. I used to collect tons of the candles that put out blue light and place them everywhere.

Over sized objects, so you could fill out some of the empty spaces in the larger homes, huge vase plus plate equals make shift table or flower stands for hallways and stuff. That and my cheeses, wines and basemant bone fetish...lol I also what some memory of the start I kept wearing my shackles for along time in game.
