What will you be doing the day before the release of Skyrim?

Post » Sat Dec 11, 2010 6:30 am

Plowing snow to make sure the UPS truck can make it up my driveway.

I'll feel sorry for the mods that will be on duty that day.

The day before is a Thursday? So even though I'll be very excited, I'll have to go to class and do work still.
I'll retire Oblivion about a month before release just so that Skyrim is as fresh and epic as possible. I cant wait.

I do know one thing I'll be doing right before I play Skyrim.

I'm going to walk to the border of Tamriel on Oblivion, look off into Skyrim dramatically, say something intense, turn off the game, and put in Skyrim.

Please record yourself doing this, that would be so awesome. :)

As for me, it depends upon whether or not my novel is finished. If it is, I'll be looking at naughty things on the net to distract myself. If it isn't, I'll be working on it, and probably having to go back and delete numerous references to Skyrim, such as typing my main villain's name as Alduin, or having my main character get attacked by giant spiders and dragons, or turning their weapon into an axe.

What will I be doing one day before the release of Skyrim? Playing Skyrim! I always get my games 1 day early in the post. Midnight launches are pointless for me as I would have had the game already for like 20 hours.

If I have a better machine, I eventually will play Skyrim I am sure of it , maybe a couple of weeks later, perhaps even the seem week .... But still my real life goes before hand ....

Never feeled the 'rush' kids feel now a days ....

Sadly, the day before Skyrim comes out is my day off. I'll be spending that wishing I had Skyrim. The next three days I have a full work schedule, so I won't play the game until [gasp] Friday.
I'm excited about Skyrim, but not that much.

But Skyrim comes out Friday worldwide anyway. I should have it Thursday though if all goes well.

Preparing for a disease called Skyrimosis, some of you might have heard of it. It's contagious and requires heavy amounts of pizza, not going out of the house, and avoiding girlfriends and friends, for it to heal ... it takes approximately 1 year to start healing, so you better get comfortable.

I work in a resturant and basicly any time we get sick we have to take the week off so that we dont contaminate food, I think i might call in and tell them I have this disease and see if theyll buy it, works gonna svck if i know i have skyrim sitting at home and bandits craving to be impaled with my claymore.

Yep 11.11.11 is a Friday, so I'm hoping I have no uni classes that day. Hope they don't work you too hard!

I'll go to school in the morning, work from the afternoon to night, pick up my copy of skyrim at midnight and let it sit there for a few days since I won't have any time to play it :(

Yeah man, same here...
