What will you dual weild?

You forgot dual swords and shortswords

That is what I usually ended up using in DA:O. Sword/short sword; although part of that might have been the graphics. Some of their daggers were short sword sized. One of my rogues was rather good with dual one handed axes, too.

I don't think dual staffs would work though. Wouldn't a staff require two hands usually?

Every fiber in my being says dual wielding is a stupid gimmick.
For me it's either a two handed weapon. A bow. A weapon with a shield. Or a weapon with a spell.

I have some options, but if I go ahead with one of my ideas. I will dual-wield axes. With an Argonian. That spits fire. :flamethrower:

And btw, do you think that if we don't dual wield anything we will be hindered? For example, if my character just wants to 1hand a longsword, because that's how he fights, and his other hand is empty. Will this make the game harder?

Either way a Bosmer with bow and arrow, or an Altmer with dual spell or a spell/staff combination. It depends on the looks of the characters which one I'll play with.

I'm gonna try everything, but I will most likely to end up with either mace/magic or longsword/magic.

Sword and dagger, so I can use stealth attacks and fight in melees without changing gear. Also, it looks cool.

Dual shields for craps and giggles. :spotted owl:

As for a serious combination, I'll more than likely end up trading off between longsword/spell and longsword/shield. May experiment with dual weapon combos, but more than likely won't use them all that much.

What I use will really depend on how the weapons function, and how strong certain perks are.
In morrowind, I used a daedric dai-katana, because they had knock down capacity, a high damage level, and ridiculous enchanting capacity. Shields seemed pretty useless in that game
In Oblivion, I used a sword and a shield, because they were actually useful for setting up attacks and it gave me an extra piece of equipment to enchant.

The first thing I thought of when I learned of duel wielding; Duel shields.

Also, Dagger/Sword and Sword/Spell :)

Anything + Shield for me. Especially with these rumors I hear that shield bashing is in.

Dual shortswords or daggers and bow+arrow. I must see them at work, daggers must be really good in sneak damage or else I'll stick to short swords.

What, no shortswords? :D

This... anyway, I'll be duel wielding daggers, and a bow and arrow.
