You should add onto there, "Hunt for Dragons. Or, thereby, have some twisted death-wish."

Something similar to what I said I was going to do when first playing Oblivion: Run around in front of the old guy from the trailer naked.

This time I'm actually going to fulfill my promise.

I will probably explore for a few hours. Maybe do a side quest or 2. Then delve into the main quest.

EXPLORE!

I always loved leaving the sewers to head straight over to Vilverin for a bandit rinsing spree and a quick inventory refresh. I always felt like I was a little bit more prepared afterwards. Fingers crossed there's something similar for Skyrim

I'll probably wander off to do some exploring and cave diving to make cash, then try and find a house for sale to stash all my loot in.

Finish the tutorial, then I'll do what ever I feel like doing at the time, I won't know what it is until I'm actually playing.

Guild. To get a free place to sleep.
Followed by making as much money as I can to buy my first house.

Then world domination.

And finally, the main quest left for last.

Explore, of course. Been waiting for years for this moment, i won't start saving children to get rusty swords as rewards when there's so much world to explore, to watch the wolves hunting mammoths :ooo: , snow storms in the mountains, people going down to mines, etc

Explore the world and watch the npc/creatures behaviour. The quests can wait. Spotting my first dragon will be a moment to remember, especially trying not to be spotted.

I'mma cruise through the main quest with my first character, then do a decent amount of side quests after I've saved the world. Somewhere along the way, I will join the Skyrim equivalent of the Arena (if there is one).

My first character will be a sort of cannon character, Nord Male Barbarian. I will take him through the main quest just to get it done, but he will do some exploring first.

I remember when playing MW it took me 3 years before I finally decided to do the MQ. This time I want to get it over with and then play again as a roleplaying experience just at my own pace doing my own thing.

The VERY first thing I will do is play around with the game settings. I just got a new GTX 460 2GB graphics card, 8GB ram and an X4 3.2GHz processor. BRING IT ON!

then I will probably experiment with the game mechanics and then spend hours designing my character before i start exploring the random countryside.

Why not wait until around two weeks before the release date before upgrading you rig, like me? We have six months until Skyrim hits, I'm pretty sure there will be more and better upgrades to get between now and then.

Well my first character's probably going to do the main quest first, but maybe with some guild stuff, (which I would do anyways...) but not if I have to do it immediatly or something... So yeah, probably main quest as quick as possible, so I can get on to the guilds and stuff...

Though who knows, I may just do some hours upon hours of exploring, before I start the main quest... (which sounds like a good idea to me, hey, why start in a rush and all, the dragons can wait...)
