What will you do (in-game) once you have Skyrim?

Post » Tue Sep 14, 2010 5:45 am

I will buff up my characters up, just enough to handle fights, then choose one random merchant. I will then kill him, and any relatives that replace him and see how long is his family line. And also stalk each of them and check where they live.

Don't be mistaken, I just want to know how many relatives would the system spawn, and whether would forcefully link an unrelated NPC to be the relative.

I dont think relatives will replace him, but they could hunt you down and seek vengence.

first I will wait until night and then sneak into every house in the game and kill every npc that I can, then once I have accomplished that I will climb the 7,000 steps and kill all the gray beards then my final task once all npc's are dead I will find a dragon fight him bare handed and then let him kill me...all this after I've spent multiple hours customizing my character which to top it off will probably be the weakest bosmer you can imagine...LOL....Nah I'll probably just walk around for a bit admiring the beauty of the game...Then a murderous rampage...then I'll see if I can walk my happy a$$ through Pale Pass Trail and go back to the Imperial city and Kill everyone there too!!!

I've the tradition of buff up my chars a bit as soon as I get control of them (up to lvl 5-7 or so), before starting any quest.

So, a bit of exploring and "muscle exercising" for me.

I′m gonna go find myself a full suit of heavy armor (or at least as full as I can) and the biggest, thickest, heaviest shield I can find and then I′m gonna learn an alteration shield spell and then I′m stop sweating from paranoia and relax a little, probably gonna take a nap in my armor with the doors locked.

Durn weak flesh.

I'll probaby create my character and play through the tutorial first

But after that, it depends on the situation, but most likely, I'll either explore the starting town or city a bit, or go to the nearest town or city if the game puts me outside one after the beginning is over. I'll talk to people, get a feel of the game, maybe find some quests to do and try to get some starting equipment and such. Pretty much what I usually do when I start an Elder Scrolls game, really. I'll likely get a bit more ambitious with my actions once I'm used to the game and have at least the basics covered for my character and equipment.

That was actually discussed with Todd if I'm not mistaken. He said it shouldn't happen anymore.

Unserious answer: as soon as I learn Invisibility and how to pick a lock I'll break into a pretty female NPC's house and see whether NPC's take off their clothes before going to bed :hubbahubba: .
Serious answer: same thing as allways - pick up as much stuff as I can that can be sold, go to the nearest town and buy as much gear and spells as I can, go to the nearest dungeon and plunder it, then go to the nearest town again and repeat process until I have a full set of gear. Then proceed to first MQ objective.

Explore the first town or city I am in. Listen to what people have to say. Search for useful items I can pinch, and hopefully find some lockpicks.
Go check out the local theives guild. Basically I will be a pure thief who prefers urban areas over the wild.

See how much a non combat character can do.
Find out in 6 seconds not much, sigh then find a way to build yet another uber build and just hack and slash.
Have a good time, but become disapointed.

Depends where we start off after the tutorial. If its in a village or near to one I'll explore that, interact with the NPCs to whatever degree available and try to find a simple side quest to undertake. Then go off towards that, into some cave or somesuch, but exploring the surrounding wilderness and hunt some animals for pelts and things to sell. Make it back to the village and sell, buy some nice looking armour (screw stats!) and then go do the woodcutter/otherjob to make some coin. Essentially just live a normal life for a bit until I have a few weapons, have two or three NPC friends that I can then recruit to companion status to help me on my adventures. ^_^

Join a guild/organization, accumulate currency and gear and/or train up a bit before setting out in the world. Will probably avoid main quest until I'm fairly high level.
