What will you be playing Skryim on?

Just thought it would be interesting to see some demographics about the players on the forums.

Demographics go along the lines of PC>Xbox 360>PS3 on these forums.

I will be playing the PS3 version, and the PS3 is already my main platform.

I know that will probably be the case on this poll, but I'd like to see what percentage. Anyways, Xbox 360 is winning right now.

Xbox 360 is the superior gaming platform.

Spoiler
Just a joke based on the amount of votes that favored the 360, not looking to start a console wars skirmish.

Xbox 360 PC is the superior gaming platform.

Fixed that for ya ;)

Yea, I'll be playing PC. I don't own an Xbox or a PS3, and I can't handle RPGs with the controllers. Also, mods.

True. Most people on these forums are PC players. I'd say overall demographics are 360>PC>PS3...

I'll be playing on the Xbox, just as I always have, just as I always will...

I'm probably going to mainly play on the PC, but I will probably buy a copy for my Xbox so I can talk to my friends on live.

I play on my 360, I find that the controller, bigger screen and better audio ( my computers audio is horrible) get me much more immersed in the game than on my PC.

Wii, duh.

Spoiler
I've been mainly PC gaming for years now, and wouldn't have it any other way. The benefits of PC gaming are just too great to pass up on.

Sometimes I like to hook up my PC to the HDTV in the living room where the PS3 is. It's the [censored].

Edit: Typos.

I will play on PS3. Mostly just because I am used to it, and I like using the controller and my couch is comfy. Also, it always gives good performance. It'll be a shame I'll miss out on mods though.

actually one of my friends just mentioned something that kinda of changes the outcome of this poll. 11.11.11 is an entire year away and that is assuming they dont push back the launch date further. how many people will still be using their consoles for their primary gaming?

i remember at the end of the PS2 era people becoming frustrated with the huge difference between PCs and consoles and games for a while started becoming more PC centric like half life 2 and doom 3 and the quake games. PC sales increased and then we saw the release of the new consoles shortly after that. could this happen again? PS3 and 360 are 5 years old now and really show their age. how many people will have bought or built a computer by the time this game is released? you can build a really good gaming computer now for less than $800 bucks and it will only get cheaper in the near future.

ive converted some of the people i know into PC gamers so i dont see why this wouldnt be a bigger trend.

Definitely PC. As much as I know Skyrim is gonna be a fantastic game on its own, I think it'll be all that and more with mods added to it.

I'm worried Bethesda will stop seeing a reason to let us Playstation fans play their games.

on my 30" 2560x1600 monitor graphics are insanely good looking.... usually... once you break the 1080i level it can get distorted due to lack of consideration for higher resolutions in the design :(

I voted for PC, I currently play on 360. I'm not sure if my laptop will be able to run the game well, hopefully I can enjoy some nice graphics though. I might buy it for both, PC will be better as mods are made, but Xbox might prove more fun for the first several months because of audio, and visuals, and most likely zero frame-rate issues.

Eh, you got mods, but I'm a firm supporter of controllers. Just something weird about having one hand spread out while the other clutches a small oval/weird shape mouse. But hey, to each his own.

I didn't use to be this way, but I can't possibly picture myself playing any future RPGs on anything other than a PC.

Besides that, I'm pretty sure there'll be something about Skyrim that I'll need to adjust with the CS. Like the majority of dragons being just a little too small for my liking or something.

Actually, as it happens, Skyrim is set to be released on PS3s 5th birthday, and it's currently 4. The PS3 is the most powerful console out and games are only just starting to push it. I have a feeling the PS3 will be around for a while longer.
