As far back as she can remember, she heard them whisper in her dreams, but, she knew not the meaning of the dragon's tongue. These dreams haunted her, and it seemed that her need to learn of what the dragons spoke had been burned into her very soul.
Sibyl is a Breton, v?lva type, shaman-in training.
Her prime motivation throughout the game will be to learn the meaning of words spoken in Dragon Tounge.
She wonders, "What is the meaning of those strange whispers in my dreams"?
Prime Skill - Alchemy, to include herbalism, will be the governing skill, supported by various magicka.
Weapons - Weapons will consist of various staves and magicka, supported by daggers, axes and bows.
Attire - Sibyl's wardrobe will consist of items of cloth, fur and leather, and possbily some bone, if available, but, not if heavy.
Starting:
Shaken, as a result of her ordeals as a prisoner, Sibyl will move stealthly, like a hunted animal, doing those things necessary to live. Regardless of her starting point, after having been a prisoner for a while, Sibyl will want to rid herself of the filth and stink of where she had been held captive.
A water source, a lake, or stream, or if in a town, perhaps, a well would provide a water source, with which to wash, or bathe, as appropriate. A warm bath would be a dream.
Hopefully, early exploration, whether in a starter dungeon, or not, will have provided her with the fundamental tools required for immediate survival.
Her rationale will be to try to determine if the nearest town, or the town she starts in, is safe for her. After determining that a town is reasonably safe, Sibyl will try to get a perspective on the local surroundings. Soon, better clothing and equipment, as well as coin, will be needed. She will eavesdrop on conversations in the streets, shops, inns and taverns, collecting bits of information, while gathering clues to help her determine her next move.
The main quest will not be entered immediately. Sibyl will need time to establish herself, to understand the political factions of the region, and perhaps, to establish alliances.
Crafting:
A few snowflakes landed on Sibyl's nose, and tickeled her. She looked up at the sky and knew the weather was going to get colder. As she examined the wolf tracks in the snow, she knew It was time to collect some fur and make some warm weather gear.
She returned to her campsite. The embers of the small fire were a nice warm red glow, and she warmed her bare hands. She know she needed some gloves, Glancing over at her lean-to, Sibyl evaluated the equipment available for making traps. She hoped it was enough.
As Sibyl contemplated, sipping honeywine from a horn, a glowing cinder popped from the flames, landed in the snow, and promptly cooled with a faint sizzle. A slight shift in the direction of a light breeze caused smoke to drift toward her face. Her eyes immediately watered. As she brushed her tears away, Sibyl moved out of the offending smoke and collected her traps, bow and dagger.
It was time to hunt...I would love to "harvest" items like fur in the game and manufacture something useful, like gloves, using developing crafting skills and tools. And then enchant some of the items my character found, or created.
In most Viking homes there was a loom and linen was produced. I hope we have something like that. Skyrim crafting has a lot of potential.
When it is time to sleep, she wonders, "Will the dragons again whisper in my dreams tonight?"
